The Rotten Tomatoes score is absurd. 94% and 99%!? That is IN-SANE. This is an ok movie at best.

"I cannot believe how much people are overstating how good this is"

Everyone is entitled to their own thoughts, views, feelings, and opinions on anything and everything in life (including this New "
SPIDER-MAN
" Movie).
If a lot of people are saying that they think that the Movie is really good then they have every right to think that and feel that way. -

This would probably include me too.

It's rated 9.0 on IMDb, which probably means a lot of fanboys have been raving about it. That score will come down. It received *** from RE.com.

That's just insane. This movie is not a 9/10. It's not a "great" movie, the "best MCU movie ever", or even the "best Spiderman movie ever". Audiences are flipping their lids over it. Its just because of the cameos.

I thought it ran too long.
Regarding Ned and MJ, they are intentionally different from the comics and film. They already did a red headed MJ and a blond Gwen Stacy so I think they wanted to shake things up a bit. I honestly think it makes the characters more accessible to a wider audience and I have no desire to see another Kirsten Dunst type love interest. They do stray quite a bit with the newest Spider-Man but nobody wants to see the same thing over and over. Garfield’s was closest to the comics in my opinion.
Hey Diddler, Diddler….the cat and the fiddler LOL -

Whatever you say. It's too wholesome for me. I think teens and young adults have passed the point of believing in Spider-Man. The youth now are into themselves. They don't concern themselves with wholesome justice and blah blah.

I haven't seen it yet, but I did watch some of the other Spider-Man movies that had Tom Holland in them and I didn't really care for his Spider-Man or those movie. Those movies were kind of absurd. They were trying something new with Spider-Man. I knew a black guy I worked with that told me Tom Holland's Spider-Man is more faithful to the comic book Spider-Man. I preferred Toby and Andrew more though.
They're just making way too many of these movies if you ask me. -

- Yes, there are too many Spiderman movies. There have been EIGHT live action movies with 3 different actors. That's not even counting his Avengers appearances or the animated one.
- Holland is also hit-ot-miss. He's too spazzy. He is fine in the Avengers movies, but being around Ned, MJ, and Flash bring him down.
