No interest in a Man Of Steel 2

To this day there's no official talk or interest or any wheels turning of getting a second solo DCEU Superman off the ground.
If there's gonna be a new film in a few years it will likely gonna be a Matt Reeves Batman type reboot with a new cast. -

I don't understand.
Man of Steel was very good and I have watched it a bunch of times. There were parts I didn't like but overall it was quality.
DC has the weirdest team working on their brand. It's like they're idiots. -

Yes.
There was a lot of poor ideas in BVS.
I recall the John Byrne comic and that was better, but simpler.
I don't like Jessie Eisenberg but I thought he would make a great Luthor due to his flat serious expression, then he ends up playing him as if he's The Joker. That was weird.
Doomsday was nonsensical.
Iron Man is actually a mild ripoff of Batman, from what I read Stan Lee say. So, they should have given Batman much better armor and really gone crazy.
Doomsday was an insane waste though. DC has this low self-esteem thing where there trash their own brands and associated stories.
Huge numbers of people know who and what Doomsday is and they just throw it all out and so when you're watching the movie it seems stupid and puzzling.
They keep doing things like that. -

I have no idea why they don't do the expanded universe.
The animated films are very good and people like them, they are made on an adult level. Meanwhile, the live films are completely disrespectful of the source material.
It's really strange because it worked beyond belief for Marvel.
All DC needs is the same writers as used on the animated films.
