For me, it’s Nolan’s TDK trilogy, Watchmen, Joker and Logan.

I think I need to clarify things a little: unless your name is Christopher Nolan, please don’t go near the superhero genre.

Watchmen, The Dark Knight trilogy, Iron Man, the first two Spider-Man movies, Into the Spider-verse, Logan, Batman (1989), X2, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Joker, Thor: Ragnarok, both Guardians of the Galaxy movies, and both of the original Superman movies.

Eh, not every watchable movie gets to be great. Sometimes all it takes is being competently made while being fun to watch. Pretty much every movie I listed has that. A few of them are very much a cut above the rest, but the question was which of them are watchable, not which are truly great.
For the great ones:
The Dark Knight
Logan
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse
Spider-Man 2
Watchmen
Iron Man
Superman II
Joker
Those movies are unquestionably the greatest of the genre.

i just rewatched Watchmen and i think that’s probably the best comic book movie adaptation of arguably the best graphic novel ever written
TDK trilogy i can watch on repeat at any given time and idk if you’ve seen the Snyder cut yet but IMO it was great

I just watched the Justice League trailer and it still looks like the same childish crap to me. Seeing Batman fighting weird monsters just isn’t for me at all. Also, the trailer is in 4:3, and I just googled and the movie has actually been cut like that. Wtf
?
Might try The Boys today. I’m rewatching The Wire, but it’s heavy and it would be good to mix it up.

you know what’s funny, i literally just watched Sin City last night man. what a ****ing movie. i saw it when it first came out when i was in highschool and i was showing my friend it cause she’s a huge 300 fan but hadn’t seen Sin City
probs gonna watch the sequel tonight although i don’t have high hopes for it -

I’m due another rewatch - it really is ****ing awesome.
I never watched the sequel because the reviews were so appalling. I’ll rewatch the first and then the sequel soon I think.
