He uses social media a lot ( maybe that comes from his mass communications academic background - he trained in journalism - in addition to his theatre training), so maybe he does visit here once in a while?
He is due in Berlin on Friday, Feb 17, in time for the world premiere in the evening. His surgical procedures did not deter him from the New York/Singapore premieres of DAYS OF FUTURE PAST - he showed up complete with a nose bandage. He is stoic - last year in February he was at the workshop for his new movie musical GREATEST SHOWMAN for the reading for FOX execs to get the final greenlight by the studio. He had his last skin cancer procedure ( before the current one) the day before and was forbidden by his doctors from singing. Jeremy Jordan ( Broadway and TV) substituted for him during the reading. But at the finale song with the ensemble, Hugh stood up and started singing over Jeremy's vocal efforts it stunned the audience present!
PS: They did get the greenlight by Fox!
