Guys, really - 1. this is based on a MANGA, a graphic novel, NOT the bible (regardless of what version). 2. the book of Enoch (along with the book of Mary Magdalene) was removed from bible. The book of Enoch is where children of angels is mentioned extensively and in detail; so in a technical sense Chas
    could
be a 'halfling'. The bible, as it was originally written, has been lost to us since Charlamagne doctored it, and then other popes followed suit down through the ages to suit
    their
    own
    views.
However, I will re-iterate that it does
    not
matter as the manga takes various biblical themes and changes them to fit the story. So please, just step off; it's just a movie, based on a graphic novel - nothing to hate on each other like this for.

You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.

Uh, this isn't based on a Manga. It's a western comic.

They're manga in as much as they're
        not
'comics' - graphic novels if you don't want to call them manga. Most writers of these types of graphic mags get very miffed if you call them 'comics'.
But the rest of my point is valid - there's no point getting into a really bad fight over a movie, tv show and some graphic novels.

          No. Manga are Japanese comics.
The only difference between graphic novels and comics is that the former is a single issue or just a few issues (i.e., Watchmen was 6 parts) while the latter is serialized (like Spider-Man).
In essence, they're all comic books. Writers don't get miffed by this. Fans do. Stupidly so, because they assume comics are for children, while graphic novels are for adults.

Not sure I agree - I went to a convention last year and heard a guy telling his teenage son he 'wasn't paying that much for some comics'. The guy running the stall, who was also the artist and writer of the novels on sale got very irritated and said "I do NOT write 'comics' - there is a lot more effort, imagination and time in these than there are in 'comics'." He said comics like someone would say dog poop.
With a daughter who is a manga and anime fan, especially Japanese manga and anime, and who regularly cosplays at UK conventions I can speak with a fair amount of certainty on this. Not only from this exchange, but also questions that I've heard asked around the same thing and conversations I've had with writers at the conventions. So I suppose it depends on the individual's opinions.

There are no facts, only interpretations.

There you go again. Manga is just Japanese.

                  No.
"especially Japanese manga and anime" -> "especially manga and anime".
                  Now it's better. 😛
P.S.: "With my daughter who is a GRAPHIC NOVEL" Whaaaa?!

Lucifer fell after man was created how do i know this you may ask, well because the reason Lucifer fell from grace was because he refused to bow down to man. Lucifer and I think 1/3rd of angels fell from grace for that reason,. not sure the exact number of angels that followed Lucifer so don't quote me on that number. but angels were created before man and were witnesses to the creation of the world but fell after man was created

I just saw that scene for the first time too, and I have watched Constantine a dozen times or so.I took it as Chas became a full fledged angel, only because he was dressed just like Gabriel was (with the wrapped white top and white flowing pants)those half human/half angels dressed human, they just hid their wings (like the young man in the convenient store who tried to help the priest).

I thought he began an angel. Probably because Gabriel took the life of an innocent and he did so well killing demons.

On the catholic popular belief in latin america, when a person was good, after their death they might become an angel. It is not in the bible, it is just a beliefThats why usually people will talk about deceased relatives being our 'guardian angels'.
