To me it's more important that Suicide Squad gets one: studios shouldn't get away with releasing things that can't even be called "movies" and have people pay for them.
BvS sucks and it's very boring but at least they were trying to make a movie, a very misguided attempt but still the intention was to make a movie.
With Suicide Squad they were just making fun of their audience and see what they can get away with: this attitude is revolting. -

That argument has merit. Still, the point of Razzie is to call out BAD film making not just lazy film making. It's splitting hairs but BvS being so bad is more offensive since they did try so hard. -

Affleck probably did all that he could. He didn't want another Daredevil on his resume but he got one anyway. All those reports of him trying to re-write things before they shot scenes were his attempt at making chicken soup out of chicken beep He failed badly and thus deserves his nomination as well.

As has been talked about often, this movie made decent box office because of a few factors.
One, the buzz was SO bad that a lot of people had to see just what everyone was talking about. Curiosity was a huge factor just like looking at a car accident as you pass it.
Two, summer 2016 was an awful movie season. Everything released was bad or disappointing. So, with nothing good to choose to see the above component kicked in to a larger degree. "Since there's nothing else to see, let's check out why Suicide Squad is so bad."
Three, blindly loyal fanboys will pay to see anything with the DC logo no matter how bad. If it has a Superman "S" or a Batman bat they'll pay to see it six times. Yes, that's a small percentage but still a factor. Moron bank is what studios love most.
