and yet, Transformer movies are bad.
See, I was always a fan of the Transformers franchise since the early 80's. My dad took me to the theater to watch the Movie in 1986. Had a ton of Transformers toys back then, had all the episodes in VHS, had their sticker collections and comics.
When the live action movie was announced it almost brought a tear to my eye. Thn I watched it and tears did fall, but for disappointment.
So, why do people go watch the Transformers movies if they are not that good?
The easiest answer is:
because that is all there is for the fans.
In all honesty, sure the kids go watch them, and sure, Japs love mechas and what not. But a great portion of the people who go watch the movies are people who lived through the 80's and still have the S1 cartoons as "one of the best ever made". I know very few people around my age who don't remember the theme song or even the names of the characters.
It's one of those very Iconic cartoons that sticks in your mind forever.

Cherish this golden age of comic book adaptation films while you can. DC may be killing the golden goose by releasing wave after wave of crap. After 2016, box offices will dwindle and so then will budgets. All thanks to DC/WB determined to be greedy and flood the market with crap. Batman V Superman was their best foot forward and look how bad that turned out.
Curse them. -

Transformers fans are wise enough to not insulting people for not "liking" their movies. They're happy with what they have, Razzies or not.
You on the other hand trash others with filthy words. You brought this upon yourself. -

The issue isn't whether or not Warner will continue to push out more DCEU related content on screen, the issue of concern is if they will take notice and try to step up their game or they decide to remain the way things are and not care about critical support in the long run. If they want to compete against Disney/Marvel they will need to do a lot more than make money at the box office, they need to churn out better films to make sure audience fatigue doesn't become a thing because if people get bored by superhero movies few will get made from any party in Hollywood.
