What's going to happen to Oswald now?

So why do we think he won't come back? Is there some confirmation of this that I missed, because I just assume someone will come along and either save him or bring him back to life, you know, like at least two other main villains.

Eh. Him being dead is 50/50 I would say. It wasn't a headshot or anything. I think it may have been a ploy to spark viewer interest in what happens next. As long as the don't "kill him" and then "resurrect him", I'm fine with it either way. I liked the character but he seemed to hit a dead end in regards to storylines that mattered.

Yeah really hope they can stop with the resurrection. Good for sparing use (Jerome
), but excessive use takes away from the weight of the show cough arrow cough. However they bring him back, hopefully he is MUCH more sadistic, calculating and merciless as we're used to. I'd like to see him return as an Arkham Origin/City/Knight kind of crime lord, maybe minus the bottle monocle. -

I hated that Penguin hasn't really done anything this season besides becoming Mayor and I hated his love towards Nygma (I'm a straight guy and it's cringy) but I didn't want him dead. I hope he's not, Batman never had a chance to bump heads with him lol.

It's cringy that you would say it's cringy because your "straight". Nobody cares that homosexuality makes you uncomfortable.
However, at the same time its been very annoying that they wrote the two villains having a weird love interest. Its like writing about Killer Croc and The Joker falling in love. The writers just shouldn't do it. -

After what we've seen Strange do with the bodies in Indian Hills and Dwight with Jerome, someone is going to find Oswald clinging to life and restore himand probably give him a bird call and flippers on top of that.
