No they won't. Repeating an old formula is never going to get people back. When people leave a show, it's very hard to pull them back. A good chunk of the audience has given up on the show and for good reason.

Yeah, but this episode had more OTA, Lance returned and it also continued the (advertised) dark Felicity arc.
Like others said here, Arrow has lost a chunk of its audience for good. Whether they were Laurel fans, Oliciters or whatnot. -

Indeed. Gauging fandom reactions based on twitter was ridiculous. Not for nothing, but Guggenheim should have known that a lot of the feedback he got might have been from bot accounts or overseas fans.
I think they also misjudged one more thing. They thought that the aggravated portion of the fanbase would return no matter what. But there are only so many times you can piss someone off. -

I still believe arrow can get the numbers back if they go back to the winning formula OTA Olicity more Lance and The a less newbies
Maybe, but I doubt it. Season 4 ended on an Olicity cliffhanger that felt very much like a big beep You!" to the anti-Felicity/Olicity portion of the audience and the show ended up losing 300,000 viewers between then and the season 5 premiere. That was unprecedented in Arrow history because it's ratings usually rose or at least stayed flat during the big summer break. -

Since coming back from hiatus, "Arrow' is consistently the lowest rated of the four DC/CW shows every week. I love it.
Donnie (on speaker phone): Alison thinks weve been hiding out long enough. I dont think the frontier life agrees with her.
Helena: "She has the shts."
Sometimes you feel like a nut. Sometimes you don't.
