Cavill looks like he was ripped from Bryne's Man of Steel books In his interviews. In the movie he looked like the Hoff and Elvis had a love-child in a colorless wetsuit.
Oh my God!!! Please give a warning when posting things like this!!
Rumchata all over my screen and keyboard, my stomach still hurts, tears are still in my eyes, and woke up significant other while laughing so hard!
Thank you, I really needed that after a crappy day!

To me Brandon Routh made a better Superman based on his looks and also his portrayal of Clark Kent. I believe he did a better job at keeping the character that people are used to seeing on screen while still capable of making it his own role.

For me, Brandon as well. I loved Christopher Reeve's Superman and just watched one through four last weekend and Superman Returns this weekend. Brandon picked up the character where Reeve left it, and it doesn't hurt that they look similar to each other.
Henry is a meaner more stoic version of Superman, and while Man of Steel was still good, it wasn't really faithful to the franchise. It was more like Superman on steroids with a bit of Transformers action for those viewers who need to see action in order to appreciate film.
That being said, Brandon made me remember Reeve while Henry made me think of X-men. -

Why do people keep repeating this? Routh's Superman and Clark Kent was nowhere near similar to Reeve's considering that they're supposed to be the same character. One of the many complaints that first came out about this movie was that Superman was more quiet and sullen and Clark Kent was actually more subdued and less bumbling. The character seemed toned down for all intents and purposes.
