Good lord. Here we go again. Hippo boy putting on the goggles and going full Tard to protect his previous little dumb Batman movie.

    • The entire thing looked like a plane crash, no reason at all to believe the plane was hijacked
Never mind the fact that the fuselage was full of shell casings and poked full of bullet holes. Those come standard in plane crashes these days?
    • Watch it again, when the hostages exit the Stock Exchange the police clearly have their headlights on. Bane was in there for quite a while and the sun was now going down. He wasn't in there for the 4 minutes that was shown on screen
What are you basing this on?? He walks in, punches a few people, and they plug in to make their phony trades. Police have only just shown up and are trying to figure out their next move when Bane goes mobile.
What does headlights being on prove?? You realize that most cars made in the last decade come with standard day lights. What kind of piece is sh/t car do you drive?? I haven't turned my head lights on or off since like 2005.
Regardless of you having NOTHING to base a multi hour stand off took place, you still can't explain how it goes from day to night in a matter of minutes. My suggestion to you would be to just own it as a filmmaking mistake instead of trying to defend the indefensible, unless of course you actually enjoy having everyone think you're an idiot.
Foley had a great character arc
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah.right. How original. Yeah, we really saw him grow and change. I can't speak for everyone, but I was soooo moved by his character in the end. Derp.
he just wanted to die being Batman
Which is of course total bullsh/t. He's been moping around for years, MAKING ZERO EFFORT TO DIE AS BATMAN, and now all of a sudden he's aching to get in the suit and be killed?? He just woke up one day and made that decision? Seeing Catwoman rob him made him want to die?? Where was that turning point??
    • Talia was in the driver seat, the entire force of the fall hit her right in the chest
Vs the cushioning back of the truck?? Do you even think things through before blindly defending? Gordon can't even see what's coming. He can't do so much as brace one way or another. Oh, and he's surrounded by jagged edges of steel. Just more idiotic writing.
    • The Bat was a rejected piece of military equipment, I have already cited several military planes that could have easily cleared the city in that amount of time
You might as well be citing a motorcycle or jet ski. That's about how accurately they also compare to a PROPELLER driven air craft.
Then factor in the fact that he's towing a damn 2 ton piece of steel. Then there's also the fact that he's lsunchimg from a dead stop, needs to elevate, navigate around the buildings, and clear the city before even attempting to start towards top speed.
I realize you're not the brightest individual, but I'd love to see your gorilla math on the speeds he traveled at to reach 6 miles of safe distance. This should be a hoot.

Just like the stupidity of pumping blood into the guy's vein as if that is going to prove who he is or is not.

      • The entire thing looked like a plane crash, no reason at all to believe the plane was hijacked
Which explains the reasoning behind pumping blood into the decoy's arm how???
Stealing Bruce's fingerprints to prove he was at the stock exchange, but video will show he wasn't.
      • The plan didn't need to work longterm, Bruce was always going to be able to prove that there was fraud.
It wouldn't work at all since the SEC and FBI wouldn't have allowed the exchange to open the next day and such stupidity in his trades would have negated any transfer of power.
Bane attacking the stock exchange in the morning, then a short while later leaving in the late afternoon, and seconds later it is pitch black.
      • Watch it again, when the hostages exit the Stock Exchange the police clearly have their headlights on. Bane was in there for quite a while and the sun was now going down. He wasn't in there for the 4 minutes that was shown on screen
Yes, they have their headlights on. And, I'm sure it took a while to get all of the police there. But, he attacked in the morning. If it took several hours to hack into the system then he hired the worst hacker in the world or his plan was cr*p.
In addition, within a few minutes of Bane leaving the exchange, it is now pitch black (just so Batman can show up at night)
The police going after Batman instead of they guys who just attacked the SE and took hostages.
      • Foley wanted Gordon's job, thought if he took down the Batman he would get a promotion. Nothing wrong with that at all, it was very consistent with his character and it made it all the more powerful when he decided to do what was right for the city and not himself. Foley had a great character arc.
I get that part of his character, but it is still a flaw that all of the police abandoned the chase for someone who just assaulted dozens of people and terrorized the exchange. There's no way that 100% of the cops would have abandoned the chase. We saw that there were cops who supported Batman; not all would have gone after him instead of the guys who were actual threats.
Batman somehow being able to park the "batwing" in an alley with no one noticing.
      • Did you not see the secret hiding place he put the Batpod in? It's not too far out of the realm of possibility that he had a way of hiding the Bat. Kind of like the camoflague canvas we saw later
Yes. It was in an alley. Off of a major street. In a major town. It wasn't on a roof top. He would have had to come down between the buildings thus attracting a lot of attention. We heard the noise it made when he left and it wasn't exactly quiet.
The SE opening the next morning and accepting everything that happened as being legit.
      • Listen to what Fox says again: "Longterm you'll be able to prove FRAUD"!
And even short term he'll be able to prove fraud. In addition, the FBI and SEC wouldn't have allowed the exchange to open the very next day. After 9/11 it took a couple of days for the NYSE to reopen, and it wasn't a direct attack on it.
The "billionaire playboy" not putting up any kind of fight when he finds out he's lost all of his money.
      • He didn't care at all what happened to him at that point in the story, he just wanted to die being Batman. Geez you don't even understand the film, he didn't care about his life, it wasn't until he rose out of the pit that he was the man we were familiar with, the Batman character who cares about his life.
Geez. You don't even understand that Bruce has a PUBLIC perception about him. He's a playboy who drives fast cars, hangs out with hot women and buys things no one else can. yet, when he's told he's broke he acts like the Rev. Jim from Taxi. "Uh.okey doke"
The police showing up in force seconds after the guy used the congressman's phone.
      • They had nothing to do, a missing Congressman was very high on their priority list, I mean it's either that or chase down overdue library books
Thank God they all KNEW to hang around in a bad part of town so they could be there in a moment's time to rescue him!
Bruce not decommissioning the device when he was worried about it being used as a bomb.
      • At the time he was more worried about the future of Wayne Enterprises and keeping it out of the hands of Daggett, he had no reason to believe that Bane had any interest in the reactor
Bruce told Fox that he SPECIFICALLY didn't turn it on because he was worried it would be used as a weapon. This was
        BEFORE
he was worried about Bane getting his hands on it.
Fox not simply flooding the chamber when he was to put in his code.
      • OK now you're just being flat out idiotic. Bane was watching his every move, I am sure Fox would have had to go through several screens saying "ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO FLOOD THE ROOM THAT YOU ARE CURRENTLY STANDING IN", and I am sure if Fox deviated from his instructions in anyway it would have results in a rifle butt to the he

Which explains the reasoning behind pumping blood into the decoy's arm how???

        • When they examined the dead body they would find Pavel's blood, assume the dead body was Pavel and then not search for him. That is far more logical than thinking "you know what I bet this plane was hijacked in mid-air the terrorists brought in a dead body on harnesses and they performed a blood transfusion before they crashed the plane. Bane planned this out perfectly and it worked.
It wouldn't work at all since the SEC and FBI wouldn't have allowed the exchange to open the next day and such stupidity in his trades would have negated any transfer of power.
        • The put options expired at midnight, it temporarily bankrupted Wayne, he was going to get his money back but for the time being Daggett had a majority. The plan was never meant to work longterm because bankrupting Bruce wasn't the objective of Bane and Talia. Everyone knew that that the stock exchange was held up but only Bruce and Fox knew what trades were executed. They were going to get his money back but they had to go through the legal process first. Either way my advice to you is read the FAQ section, there is a very detailed explanation as to how Bane's plan would have worked. I think you'll be a lot happier with yourself.
Yes, they have their headlights on. And, I'm sure it took a while to get all of the police there. But, he attacked in the morning. If it took several hours to hack into the system then he hired the worst hacker in the world or his plan was cr*p.
        • Uh I am sure hacking into the Gotham Stock Exchange isn't exactly simple, probably did take quite a while and considering they were holding hundreds of people hostage with automatic weapons you know damn well Foley wasn't just going to move in and jeopardize lives, especially considering Bane wasn't just executing random hostages. The sun was going down when the bike chase started, watch the scene again it is clearly almost dusk.
        • They were given orders by the deputy police commissioner, they had to obey or they risked losing their jobs.
Yes. It was in an alley. Off of a major street. In a major town. It wasn't on a roof top. He would have had to come down between the buildings thus attracting a lot of attention. We heard the noise it made when he left and it wasn't exactly quiet.
        • Bruce drove the Tumbler all over the damn place and didn't attract attention either, I don't see what you're bitching about.
Geez. You don't even understand that Bruce has a PUBLIC perception about him. He's a playboy who drives fast cars, hangs out with hot women and buys things no one else can. yet, when he's told he's broke he acts like the Rev. Jim from Taxi. "Uh.okey doke"
        • You clearly don't understand the film, Bruce Wayne at that point was not the Bruce Wayne everyone was familiar with, he didn't care about his life, he just wanted to die protecting Gotham, and besides what was he supposed to do? When his car was being towed the guys had paperwork, nothing Bruce could do. He got a ride home from Blake, stopped by Selinas and then went to fight Bane that very night, don't seem to remember him ever telling anyone he didn't care.
Thank God they all KNEW to hang around in a bad part of town so they could be there in a moment's time to rescue him!
        • Every single cop in the city was more than likely looking for the congressman, it was either that or chase down overdue library books, not out of the realm of possibility at all. And considering it was the bad part of town it makes perfect sense that there were cops nearby.
Bruce told Fox that he SPECIFICALLY didn't turn it on because he was worried it would be used as a weapon. This was BEFORE he was worried about Bane getting his hands on it.
Fox not simply flooding the chamber when he was to put in his code.
        • Dude what about this don't you understand??? Bane and his men were WATCHING WHAT HE WAS DOING AND HAD A GUN TO FREDERICKS HEAD!!! They definitely would have figured out what Fox was doing and then beat the sh!t out of him. Do you honestly Bruce would make flooding the chamber as simple as a push of a button? No, there were definitely multiple screens Fox would have to go through to flood the chamber. This is the dumbest complaint I have ever heard. Plus I am sure you would be more than willing to sacrifice yourself if you were in that same situation.
Ok now you'r just being a flat out Nolantard. You somehow know the screens would say that? You are sure? Why? Because your god came to you in a dream one night and told you so? No one knew the buttons Fox had to push other than Fox. And, if Bane knocks Fo

"Perfectly?" As in, the little blood he pumped into the arm would mix with the rest of the blood. On the minuscule chance that the arm survived the crash intact and that is where they took the blood from, it would give mixed results. Since they don't have to worry about where they draw the blood, they wouldn't just go for the same vein automatically. They are more likely to go for the torso or an internal organ to get the blood.

He can come in stealthily in the Tumbler. He can come up on side roads. The Bat is loud, large and he parked it between public buildings at ground level. Hearing a "car" go by doesn't attract attention. Every person in those buildings would have been looking to see WTF that noise was. Especially when he would have had to taken the extra time to put the Bat-cycle down somewhere so he could use that to get around town.
Which does lead to the question, what did he do with it after that? We don't see him carry it away, but we see him use it later. I guess we're supposed to believe the "realism" of a Nolan movie that the cops didn't go and investigate the alley after he left?

In addition, HE STILL HAS THE BRUCE WAYNE PERSONA TO UPHOLD. Daggett and the rest would have been suspicious when they saw how calm and collected Wayne was. Just like him buying the hotel in BB because it was something "Bruce Wayne" would do, he should have plead his case before being escorted out.

            • We have no idea how much of Pavel's blood they put in the dead body, it's safe to say they were pumping blood longer than for the 3 seconds we saw on screen, but then again you are completely incapable of comprehending that anything could happen off screen, from your perspective if it wasn't shown on screen it didn't happen. Bane probably pumped all of the blood from the dead body out before the plane heist, as careful a planner as Bane is it makes perfect sense. Nice try though.
All the more reason why the SEC would not accept anything that happened. • OK there is a very detailed explanation as to how this probably happened on the FAQ page, read that in it's entirety before you respond again
And, they didn't attack at 3pm. They attacked earlier. Regardless, they are supposed to be 'world class' terrorists. If it took several hours to hack the system, they were horrible.
            • Oh OK so I guess you could hack into the entire stock exchange in a matter of minutes, you are grasping at straws, you are totally desperate, you know you have nothing and so therefore you are latching on to every tiny nit pick hoping that you will be able to portray yourself as intelligent.
And, "almost dusk" does not mean dusk. It was bright enough for everything to be seen clearly. Within seconds of Bane escaping, it is pitch black. The ONLY reason that was done was so that TDK could show up at night.
            • OK how many times do I have to tell you that the chase went on for a lot longer than the 30 seconds that was shown on screen, of course they didn't show the entire chase which probably lasted quite a while, that would be stupid and pointless. The sun was going down when the chase scene started, it completely makes sense that it would be dark soon.
And yet we saw one cop admonish another for getting involved in what Batman was doing. Your theory is proven wrong by Nolan himself.
            • He said "put that thing away before you hurt yourself", maybe that guy was deep down still a believer in the Batman, either way he never said "stop interfering with Batman", he said to put his taser down, maybe he didn't want the guy to get attacked by Batman? Either way we later see that same guy continuing the chase so you lose.
Yes. It was in an alley. Off of a major street. In a major town. It wasn't on a roof top. He would have had to come down between the buildings thus attracting a lot of attention. We heard the noise it made when he left and it wasn't exactly quiet.
            • This guy is a master of theatricality and deception, we have seen him accomplish similar tasks in the previous films, your argument has no weight to it. Maybe he intentionally chose an alley between two buildings that were abandoned? I don't seem to remember seeing anyone living or working there?
Which does lead to the question, what did he do with it after that? We don't see him carry it away, but we see him use it later. I guess we're supposed to believe the "realism" of a Nolan movie that the cops didn't go and investigate the alley after he left?
            • Maybe they did and didn't see it because you know he had his own little compartment for the Batpod that was locked.
Ok, drop the cr*p about dying as Batman because that is BS. He went into hiding for 8 years and did NOTHING to show he was wanting to sacrifice himself as Batman.
            • HE WAS WAITING FOR THINGS TO GO BAD AGAIN! HE WANTED A REASON TO PUT THE BATSUIT BACK ON!!! Times were good, cops were chasing down overdue library books, there was no reason to go out there and fight. You don't even have the first basic understanding of the film, no wonder you hate it.
            • Oh and who was he supposed to plead his case to? Fox was already trying to prove fraud, who was he going to go bitch to?
I can get that there were "some" cops around. It makes sense that they patrol the bad sections. But they had dozens of cops PLUS the police commissioner show up within seconds of the phone being used.
            • And they were all probably stationed in the bad part of town, you know where most of the crime happens.
              They definitely would ha

Serious question, what was Pavel's situation at the beginning of the film? He's there with the 3 men (1 of them being Bane under the hood) and they're being turned over to the CIA bozos.
Was Pavel with Bane and then they got captured? Always been a little foggy on this.
              • This guy is a master of theatricality and deception, we have seen him accomplish similar tasks in the previous films, your argument has no weight to it. Maybe he intentionally chose an alley between two buildings that were abandoned? I don't seem to remember seeing anyone living or working there?
I can accept that Batman had hidden the Bat down that alley. When you add up all the rest of the unlikely stuff though, it does start to look kinda fishy.
So he hides it down an alley, which just happens to be right near where the chase with Bane ends. How convenient. Double convenient that the entire army of damn cops don't go down the alley and find the bat cycle.
              • HE WAS WAITING FOR THINGS TO GO BAD AGAIN! HE WANTED A REASON TO PUT THE BATSUIT BACK ON!!!
Come on man. You can't actually believe this when you look at the big picture, right? In your mind, he's been sulking around, wishing for any chance to put the suit back on and die being Batman, so his plan is to just sit and be depressed while he waits for something bad to happen near him? Why not just go seek out the danger if Gotham is so quiet? Certainly there's other cities in the world that could use the Bat. Other villains that are a danger to the whole world. Other injustices to right. Go wage a war as Batman against ISIS or some sh/t. If hes REALLY wishing to be Batman and die doing it, he could have gone out and done it any time he wanted to.
In fact, if he's siting around waiting to die being the Bat, then why isn't he doing any kind of maintenance with his Bat persona at all? Doesn't put on the suit, go in the Bat cave, and makes no effort to do anything bat related.

You are an idiot. He could NOT have gotten 100% of the person's blood out. Even if he did, that means he would have had to put enough blood in the body to make it look like there was blood in the body when the plane crashed since he doesn't know how the body will look after the crash. And, if the body is mangled, they won't go for a vein. They will go for an organ, which will have the original person's blood in it still.
                  Fail.
                • OK there is a very detailed explanation as to how this probably happened on the FAQ page, read that in it's entirety before you respond again
The exchange wouldn't have opened the next day. Period. They wouldn't have accepted the "perfect timing" of Bruce's screwed up investments expiring on the day of the attack.
                  Fail.
                • Oh OK so I guess you could hack into the entire stock exchange in a matter of minutes, you are grasping at straws, you are totally desperate, you know you have nothing and so therefore you are latching on to every tiny nit pick hoping that you will be able to portray yourself as intelligent.
The longer the attack goes on, the more chances there are for failure. Someone accidentally shoots a hostage and the cops storm in - failure. The cops cut all of the power - failure.
The only one trying to portray himself as intelligent is you, but you are too stupid to see how stupid you are.
                • OK how many times do I have to tell you that the chase went on for a lot longer than the 30 seconds that was shown on screen,
Oh, how many times do I have to tell you that the attack didn't take several hours like you "think" it did? And how many times do I have to tell you that it wasn't close to being dark when Bane escaped? How many times do I have to tell you that the chase didn't last several hours like you think it did? The longer it lasts the more chances there are for Bane to wreck/get caught. It also wouldn't have taken him that long to get out of town.
                  Fail.
                • He said "put that thing away before you hurt yourself", maybe that guy was deep down still a believer in the Batman,
Convenient of you to skip how he also said "Your in for a show" to the other cop. And following doesn't mean he was trying to apprehend.
                  Fail.
I don't seem to remember seeing anyone living or working there?
And you don't see anyone not living or not working there. Nice an convenient that the chase ended right there or how the cops didn't even go into the alley afterwards to get the motorcycle.
                • Maybe they did and didn't see it because you know he had his own little compartment for the Batpod that was locked.
They would have ripped the alley apart and gotten warrants to check all of the buildings if it didn't show up - especially with that moron running the show.
                  Fail.
                • HE WAS WAITING FOR THINGS TO GO BAD AGAIN! HE WANTED A REASON TO PUT THE BATSUIT BACK ON!!!
Which doesn't mean the same thing as "wanting to die as Batman." You are talking out of both sides of your mouth.
                • Oh and who was he supposed to plead his case to? Fox was already trying to prove fraud, who was he going to go bitch to?
As I said, moron, the board. Daggett was there and thought Bruce was worthless. He would have been suspicious if Wayne would have just gone quietly. His not even saying, "WTF???" looked stupid.
                • And they were all probably stationed in the bad part of town, you know where most of the crime happens.
Sure, that makes sense. Station everyone, INCLUDING THE POLICE COMMISSIONER, in the bad part of town in case something happens. I mean, for sure, it isn't like that city is a few hundred square miles with millions of people in it. Just lets have the Commissioner stay there instead of police headquarters because something might happen.
                  Fail.
                • BANE WAS WATCHING FOX'S EVERY MOVEMENT!!! If he deviated from his instructions in the slightest they would have beat the sh!t out of him and made him follow instructions. Dear god you are stupid.
YOU ARE A COMPLETE AND UTTER RETARD. IF BANE KNEW WHAT FOX WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DOING, THEN WHY DID HE NEED FOX THERE TO ACTIVATE IT? HE COULD HAVE DONE THAT HIMSELF.
Since you are such a retard I'm going to ask that again.
YOU ARE A COMPLETE AND UTTER RETARD. IF BANE KNEW WHAT FOX WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DOING, THEN WHY DID HE NEED FOX THERE TO ACTIVATE IT? HE COULD HAVE DONE THAT HIMSELF.
How would Bane know the instructions Fox was supposed to follow? Only Fox and Wayne knew the instructions. Fox could have played 'chopsticks' on the keypad and Bane wouldn't have known if it was right or wron

60th greatest movie of all time and made over a billion dollars, suck on that.
Huh? You think IMDB is the list of the greatest movies of all time?? LOL. Why? Because you and the other zealot fan boys with sock accounts can put in work to manipulate it in the favor of your obsessive opinion?? Pathetic.
Don't lie. You're as part of that manipulation as the rest of the Nolan worshipping zombies. Don't evdn try to act like you don't immediately down vote any movie that dares to get higher than TDKR lately.
You've never even seen Deadpool. Guaranteed. You couldn't answer any questions about it, could you? Yet here you are, rating it a 1/10.

As I said in a different thread, I may not agree with all of the players in (or not in) the baseball Hall of Fame, I like how they don't vote for a guy until he's been retired for 5 years. That forces perspective upon a player rather than just the groundswell of support because he was popular and went out on a high-note.
It happens all of the time. Something is popular and the fanboys can't distinguish that from being good. How many one-hit-wonders were described as being "the next Beatles?"
Between that and fake accounts that is why TDK trilogy is listed so high on this fan site.

It was on TNT or something yesterday. Watching it for a few minutes is a great reminder on how bad it turned out.

But just read what you wrote. It is still on TNT!
That channel does not just randomly keep putting on movies. Obviously the movie gets a rating, obviously people are still watching it.

Okay if you had brought up the Transformers then I would of accepted your premise. But not those movies.
I have not seen Furious 7 so can't comment on that. But those others are not bad movies.
I hate Avatar with a passion, I hate its cliche dialog and unbelievably predictable plot points. But what the movie actually aims to do, it does very well. The effects were revolutionary, the 3D stuff worked, and the Cameron knows how to do action.
Iron Man 3 happens to be another movie I hate. Hated the Mandarin twist, hated the villain, and hated the parts with the kid. But what the movie aims to do well, it does. Downey does his thing, action is solid, humor is definitely there, and you had the Marvel bonus scene at the end.
And Avengers is just fan. I don't think it is groundbreaking in anyway. But that movie could of been a total mess, but Wheddon really held it together. Every actor did their thing, it did its fan service, and every peace seem to fit and matter.
These were well done movies, just because they don't fit yours are mine taste. Does not qualify them as bad movies. Just movies that are not for us.

Dude, you're giving movies a pass on the weakest logic. "They did what they set out to do". Don't you think there's lots of movies that did what they set out to do? Lots of directors who were happy with their final product, but actually made a crap movie?
Avatar is an awful movie. I don't care about cool special effects. That stuff is for video games. I need a good story, and not just a total rehash and stealing from all of Cameron's previous works, not to mention a nearly complete rip off of the movie Ferngully.
Same goes for Iron Man 3. AWFUL film. Might even be worse than Iron Man 2.
I actually happen to like Avengers, but there are A LOT of people out there that would tell you its terrible and worthless.
Point is, theres movies that meet the aforementioned "billion dollars earned and good Rotten T rating" that actually aren't all that good.

What about Return Of The King? You seem to think that's a bad movie.and it fits your above criteria.
