It has one of the most compelling stories in tv. At this point, I hope they tie all their loose ends this season and end it in a high note.

      1. If your fears are based on message board threads about ratings, then every single TV show by HBo's porn or that zombie fair gets the same
      2. If the show does end up getting canceled because people are too busy watching HBo's porn crap.well, yes, it's a tragedy, a bit tragedy, but admittedly almost half of my favourite TV shows of all time have been cancelled or struggled heavily to survive. Including many of Joss' shows. The masses flock to crap and avoid quality, has been this way since the dawn of time.
      3. Yep, I agree - Agents of Shield, despite some flaws, is pretty much the most compelling show on TV right now.

Post a link that shows imminent cancellation. Otherwise your post means nothing at all. Having said that, I am not enjoying this recent arc at all. I hope they wrap it up soon.

At this point I'd take all that talk with a grain of salt as it is based mainly on articles of supposition.
          ie:
          http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/renewcancel/cancel-bear-vs-abc-week-9-agents-of-shield-is-becoming-less-useful
THE CANCEL BEAR NOVEMBER 22, 2016
The announcement that Marvel and ABC are making a show based on The Inhumans (after shelving a planned feature film) was notable for a couple reasons. The one that caught the Bears eye was the fact that the show appears at this point to be completely disconnected from Marvel and ABCs current show, Agents of SHIELD.
SHIELD spent a considerable amount of time in the past laying groundwork for that Inhumans film, performing its duties as a cog in the Marvel machine to its core fans and few others. With that gone and the more integral part it played in setting up Captain America: The Winter Soldier even farther in the past, its harder to see any meaningful connection to the Marvelverse, which is not good news.
The show has always felt at least as much like it was servicing some larger Marvel plan as it was its own thing. Now that its less of the former, its getting a bit late to try to be the latter.
SHIELD is staying at tossup level for now. The Bears gut says it may hang on for another, possibly shortened, season in 2017-18. Meager as the shows ratings have been, theyre still an upgrade over ABCs dirt-poor performance at 10 on Tuesdays last season.
The Bear will check back in with Agents of SHIELD before the season is out. Its pretty much the definition of stuck in the middle right now.
Then this article just went with Cancellation Bears synopsis and fan fears:
          http://www.itechpost.com/articles/57628/20161123/agents-of-s-h-i-e-l-d-season-5-canceled-in-favor-of-the-inhumans.htm

A couple of ABC shows have already been confirmed canceled and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 5 is the latest series caught in danger of cutting off the run. There are a few reasons why the network would not renew the show next year for season 5. Are Marvel and ABC ditching "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." in favor of "The Inhumans"?
Following the official cancellation of ABC series "Notorious" and "Conviction" (although they're still airing), latest word in the mill pointed out that "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." has been in talks not to be renewed for season 5 next year. According to a recent report published by Screener TV last Tuesday, Nov. 22, the series "is becoming less useful." Screener TV has been known for predicting shows to be canceled correctly using its own Bear's methodology.
The biggest fear of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." fans could be the release of Disney and ABC's "The Inhumans." To recall, the first three seasons of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." have been spent hugely on the establishment of the backstory of the Inhumans on silver screen. Making a show for the Inhumans seems to make a full-swing blow to ditch S.H.I.E.L.D.
Although the series remains standing on the balance beam for now, fans can't help but think season 4 might be its final run considering the Inhumans play a huge part and now they have their own set. In terms of branding, the same publication disclosed that "the show appears at this point to be completely disconnected from Marvel and ABC's current show, 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

Chloe Bennet said the final arc will satisfy fans that have 'been here from the start'. So I'm guessing we will get a solid finale to this show.

There is nothing that points to immediate cancellation, but there are troubling signs. Ratings are down, in comparison to other ABC shows. It's also Marvels red-headed stepchild right now. It's not being tied into the greater MCU, the films not even recognizing it exists (understand the internal Marvel politics concerning this). The less this ties into the greater MCU, the less important it is to the Mouse Ears. Has it gotten to the point that ABC gets to make the call on the show? I don't know. I'm pretty sure that the Disney higher ups kept it around for a while, but it won't stay that way forever with lower ratings.

But the show is actually pretty good. Ive been here since the first episode and will admit that there are a few episodes that kinda of drag here and there, but ive enjoyed every season up to now. Disney needs to pull its mouse eared head out of its a$$ and make this start having a impact on the moviesor make more freaking cameos from the movies show up on the show.
I cant help but think all these show nowadays dont last that long. Gone are the days of full 23 episode seasons that lasted a long time. The only shows I know of that had a ton of seasonslaw and order and csi. Law and order is still going strong and its basically the same thing every week. Csi as bad as it is to say this as I loved that series (the original not the spinoffs) was go investigate this crime and catch the bad guy. Every weeksame thing just different crimes. Agents has potential its just disney not realizing it to its full. Smhif this gets cancelled im done with abc and disney.

It breaks my heart even more so how bad the show is right now, especially when the ratings are so important.
