Why are you laughing? You're pathetic. Come on now. Look at what your sister is posting. She actually said Iris' sole purpose for being on the show is Barry, but isn't that the point? Isn't everybody, including your faves on there for Barry? Then she thinks because 10 of you hate Iris, and 10 of her fans are on here that she doesn't have more. I'm embarrassed for you.
Stop the madness. And stop laughing. It's not funny, boo boo.
There is no Flash without Iris West. -

You are assuming that most of the people watching even like Iris and I doubt that's the case!
Just look at these boards. There's only a handful of Iris fanatics. Iris is barely tolerable in her scenes WITH Barry. Once he goes, her crappy character and acting will really start to smell up the joint not being able to be propped up by Gustin's ability. -

It's hard to continue any show when there is a clear main character or focus. Kid Flash can't replace Barry, and bringing in a different super hero is not the same. Or bringing in a different actor to play the same character rarely works. Only in a true ensemble cast can one show survive, like Law and Order where main characters came and went. Grey's Anatomy has survived with many characters leaving, but it's been said Meredith is the show (by Shonda R), so when Ellen P leaves, the show is over.
I think that only Legends could survive if someone leaves. There is no clear cut major character -

Under the right circumstances.
Wally probably couldn't carry the show, but if they sent Bart back from the future, or introduced cousin Wally, or let Jay handle the lead while they try and make Wally or Jesse a capable lead.
The Emperor has no clothes. -
