DCEU films make most of their budget back before release thanks to promotional partners.
Indeed a lot of the DCEU movies feel like a prolonged advert at times. WB/DC don't even care if these placements make any sense in the actual movie. Just look at Bruce driving a 2016 Jeep in 2013 or Lex feeding people Jolly Ranchers LMFAO how desperate and obvious these placements come across as being instead of fitting naturally with in the film. I wonder what Jesse must have felt when he signed on for the role of Lex then heard that he would have to be feeding people Jolly Ranchers as part of the role.

Well I don't think that anyone would argue that the DCEU is not profitable but as a customer I am more concerned about quality not lining WB pockets.
