Maybe, and they might place Black Adam in there as played by The Rock.

I think it's a mess primarily because of one thing the decision to pit Batman and Superman against each other and call that film "Batman v Superman". People generally want the two to work together, even if they do have a slight tension. Snyder is allegedly the one that came up with that idea, and then they had to make a film around that flawed idea, which turned out to be a cluttered mess. Prior to that, it was a great start with "Man of Steel", which was a very underrated movie. You're right that if "Wonder Woman" doesn't make at least as much money as "BvS" (and I doubt it will because it's a female hero, and one who is usually looked at in the general public with a laugh), you're probably talking about "The Flash" being canceled. "Aquaman" will probably be deep into production by then, so they'll have to take that hit. "Justice League" will be what it will be, then the last chance they'll have is the Batman film. That'll probably be made regardless of who directs (or stars?) in it because of the popularity of Batman. Affleck is probably going to quit the role after the solo Batman movie, so they'll be back to square one with a new actor and character idea.
So they may have doomed the DCEU with what I mentioned above, but they doomed the Batman movies by hiring Affleck. Whatever one wants to say about his performance, his age and the fact that he has other opportunities due to his new directing notoriety mean that he wasn't going to be in the role long. However, I finally watched two of his directorial efforts after never viewing any. I rented "Gone Baby Gone" and went to "Live by Night". Yeesh, neither was very good, but that is due in part to the fact that they were based on two Dennis Lehane novels that were as bland as day-old bread.Nancy Pelosi: "Tell 'em you're a Muslim.
