So barry, I see that you just saw Iris die in the future, 5 months from now, at the hands of Savatar. Now you have the opportunity to stop that from happening and save Iris's life.
Do you
A) tell the team immediately and get started on a plan to save Iris's life since time is of the essence.
Or
B) hide that information from everyone for 5 weeks thus losing a month that could have been spent formulating a plan.
I swear, it's like everyone in this universe has poor communication skills. -

I think Barry had no intention of telling anyone except maybe Joe. And that is because Barry doesn't want a conscience. He wants to able to do what he wants without someone saying you can't do that its going too far you are crossing the line and Joe would have been ideal cause he wouldn't stop him.
I think the only reason he told Iris because she would have known something was wrong and forced it out of him. And the only reason he told the team was because Iris made him -

Yes he told the team but only after the mid season break which within the show's own timeline spanned a couple of weeks.
Ep 9 Barry: that happens 5 months from now
Ep 10 Barry: we have 4 months to prevent it
