That's probable, but Brad Bird did a fantastic job on the Iron Giant and Incredibles, but Tomorrowland was a dud (not bad, but misguided), Andrew Stanton beyond amazing work on Pixar films..John Carter..lifeless. I'd give the Lego Batman director a small budget live action film before a tentpole superhero film.
Lord and Miller did just that, began with an animated film then tested the waters with a satire of a forgotten Tv series, and now they have a Han Solo flick.
Hell I even feel bad for Marc Webb, he did a great job on 500 Days of Summer only to be thrown into a lion's den with the TASM series.after one movie.

He only directed animated/stop-motion stuff like Robot Chicken and nothing live-action. So I don't really see how he can do live-action yet.

snyder used to be some visual guy, a good one
but wb gave him the key to DCEU
