That's because the fans of the show have ruined the show by forcing the hand of the writers. During the summer and Comic Con panel they explained the nature of Jerome. But his crazy fans can't handle rejection. They forced them to bring him back. He was never meant to be Joker. The show is now being punished because of them. No other shows are going on "Winter break" except for Gotham and Lucifer. The writers are now having to redo everything because of these people. They have ruined the show. The show was awesome until they did this. Frankly they should have never made Jerome.

Why call Jerome fans crazy? Maybe some are crazy but its a bit offensive to normal folks who likes the character. Plus, fans can't force writers to do anything. They saw how popular Jerome was to the fans of the show (the people that will help keep the show on the air) and decided, why not bring him back to help with ratings. Nobody liked the fact that the Joker could be someone that Jerome inspired because that would make Joker a copy cat, which is lame. He'd be no different than any other Jerome follower.

I agree. Fans need to shut up! It's one thing to love a show or series, but it's a whole other thing to start demanding things like they're going to pay for it, or direct it. I get so fed up with these hoards of fans pressuring a television show to do it "their way" -

No, Season 3A of Gotham was better than 3A of the Flash, although Flash got going in it's last 3 episodes of 3A. Flash is kind of hitting it's stride now, while Gotham looks to be nosediving and the pending 3-month break won't help.

What is hurting Gotham is the bringing back of JeromeI've always been of the mindset that Gotham should have focused on the other members of Batman's rogue gallery, and just alluded to and teased the big 4.
