This is a stunning look behind the curtain of the mess known as the WB
http://www.pajiba.com/think_pieces/an-open-letter-to-warner-bros-ceo-kevin-tsujihara-about-layoffs-zack-snyder-and-donuts.php
You should read the entire letter but here are the highlights.
When I left my screening of Suicide Squad last week, I was angry. I was annoyed and let down and frustrated as well, but mostly I was just angry.
Look, I'm a big dork. So
of course I thought this trainwreck of a movie did a major disservice to the characters
, concept, cast, and crew, but that wasn't why I was mad. Yes, it is unfathomable to me that Warner Bros could mess up a movie starring Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and The Joker so completely. But that just had me flummoxed.
Most sane fans are flummoxed as well.
I am a former Warner Bros employee. I have so much respect for your studio.
That's huge.
I was also there in 2014, when you made the decision to lay off 10 percent of your workforce. It was a terrible year.
This is how you opened a memo about layoffs. "Hey guys, we work hard for the people telling stories here and we want to make sure those visions are realized." The balls on you.
That year we pursued the storytelling vision of Adam Sandler's Blended and Clint Eastwood's Jersey Boys. Failures. We pursued a potentially great summer movie like Edge of Tomorrow and completely botched its release. Same with Man From UNCLE. We dug in our heels and hoped The Hobbit Trilogy would somehow stop being a mediocre case of diminishing returns. Talented, loyal people packed their boxes and went home while your story tellers dropped the ball.
Proof that the WB hasn't has a clue for years.
You, your executive team, and the vision of your 'extraordinary storytellers' that resulted in the loss of around one thousand jobs seem intent on crashing the ship into as much sht as you can find in the ocean by making inane decisions over and over again.
Yet, that sht crashing is somehow paying off with Suicide Squad making money despite being awful. Go figure.
Zack Snyder is not delivering. Is he being punished? Assistants who were doing fantastic work certainly were. People in finance and in marketing and in IT. They had no say in a movie called Batman V Superman only having 8 minutes of Batman fighting Superman in it, that ends because their moms have the same name. Snyder is a producer on every DC movie. He is still directing Justice League. He is being rewarded with more opportunity to get more people laid off. I'm assuming you yourself haven't been financially affected in any real way. You and your studio are the biggest lesson about life one can learn: The top screws up and the bottom suffers.
Fans suffer as well.
You just don't get it. And it's not just DC movies, it's your whole slate. Jupiter Ascending. Get Hard. Hot Pursuit. Max. Vacation. Pan. Point Break. beep PAN, you jerk. People lost their jobs and you decided Pan was a good idea. You think another Jungle Book is a good idea.
Love this letter because I love truth.
Maybe Wonder Woman wouldn't be such a mess. Don't try to hide behind the great trailer. People inside are already confirming it's another mess. It is almost impressive how you keep rewarding the same producers and executives for making the same mistakes, over and over.
Wonder Woman another mess? Gee, what a shocker.
I love that studio, and you're allowing it to sink. It's not about making movies for 'the fans' and not 'the critics.' It's not even about 'ruining childhoods.' It's about protecting livelihoods.
Not only is the WB dumb (which we all knew) but they are heartless as well.
It figures. -

I believe this is real at least to some degree. No simple troll could craft something this time specific with this much detail. Maybe it's not an ex-employee but a CURRENT one that wanted cover to call them out?

If not an employee, the person seems to know employees.
But if former employee, people could claim bitter which is why not to use a real name. Person needs to work still. I'm sure WB wouldn't be above giving a bad ref for something like this.

Jenkins HAS to defend her work. She can hardly admit she's floundering. They could can her & get someone else.
This might show why she was canned from Thor 2.

Zack Snyder, is the most amazing part of this story. Forget if you, personally, have liked his films. Just look at his record . Since 300 and Dawn Of the dead (Which I really enjoyed) his film have been devisive at best. He has had big budget flops, and yet, WB gave him Man Of Steel. This did not take the money that it could have done, and was again, devisive . So, obviously , WB give him BvS, and then, give him Justice League, without seeing if BVS was going to be a hit or not. This just eludes me. How can the studio be that dumb. You may like Snyder, but the facts are, he does not give the studio, what they want in monetary terms. I still can't believe that he is directing JL

There has to be more at play. The WB keeping Snyder around means he has something substantial on WB execs and they don't want it getting out. They should have just shuffled him "upstairs" and made it look like a promotion. Whatever it takes to get him out of the director's chair.

Now I did enjoy the movie, but I absolutely respect the hell out of this. Dude stood up and said a lot. WB needs to stop being beep and do their stuff right. Sure I liked the movie but the fact is it could have and should have been better. There is no reason this movie or BvS should have been universally(almost anyway) hated and critically panned. They both should have been glorious adventures in cinema, but you know what? They weren't. No matter the minority of viewers(like myself) that liked those two movies. Facts are facts and WB beep up in a big way.
I'm actually glad that this guy said what he did, what's the worse that could happen? WE get better movies? Oh god no! I think people need to see this and wake up, even if you liked the movies there is NOTHING wrong with asking for a better product. Which we should be almost screaming for at this point.

I can't watch that at the moment but why are you putting so much emphasis on the word "true"? Is it sarcasm are are you being 100% genuine, and possibly encouraging or attempting to discredit my post? Sorry I honestly can't tell.

That's a fair enough statement. I'm not disgusted but I do want a better product in the future that's for sure.

The way I see it, I could love this film up and down all day and all night. However if enough people hated it and create an uproar about it the studio will churn out a better polished product. If that's the case then by all means raise your voices because if I think what they call "meh" is awesome I can only imagine how much I'm going to poop in my seat if the studio puts out something these mehsayers call amazing.
It's a win-win for me if I'm going to be blunt.
