DC Villains Aren't Just Thin, They're Terrible

Zod wasn't that bad. I'd say he beat quite a few MCU villains. But that's kind of to be expected, since he's Superman's main baddie.
Lex was pretty indefensible. All I can say in his favour is that Eisenberg's bizarre performance might've worked as a different character in a different film
Doomsday was basically nothing. I found it so weird that a film that tried to be serious and complex decided to end it with a 50 foot CGI monster villain. Showing him in the trailers spoiled Superman's death, too.
Enchantress and her brother were just bad. Even without the dancing (though that would be an improvement) they were just generic bad guys trying to destroy the world. Little motivations between them, and we didn't even get a name out of the brother. -

And here is what Marvel has provided us with.
Whiplash - your Daddy ripped of my Daddy so I am going hit you with my whips
Justin Hammer - I going to stamp my feet until I get what I want
Malkeith - I want complete darkness just for the sake of it
Zemo - I want to a bunch of people hit each other just to feel good -

What's your point? This thread is about DC villains. I thought Zemo was good.
Marvel also provided us with some amazing villains like Loki, Wilson Fisk and Kilgrave. Some good/decent ones like Yellowjacket or Iron Monger or even Ronan (I don't think he was as bad as people say).
I think Enchantress is the low point when it comes to villains. The hula dancing does not help. -

He was a poor villain but to be fair he wanted darkness for his kind to thrive again.
I've baited my hook with my own underwear. Is it wrong that I hope to catch a fish I can relate to?-Ragdoll. -

Zod was a better villain than anything MCU has got. If you weren't a sad cave troll you would have realised that Zod had his reasons, and some would not even see him as a villain. He had very strong arguments to do what he did.

I'm a Marvel fan, but it's not like Marvel has any real good villains either. Better than DC, but still quite a lot of bad ones.

And aside from General Zod, all the DCEU have had to offer is a Lex Luthor who thinks he's the Joker, a Joker who thinks he's Jim Carrey's Grinch, and a Cara Delvingne who thinks she can be an actress.

You got me there. Eisenberg was handsomely miscast as Lex, and Cara Delavinge is a awful actress. And although I liked Suicide Squad, her Persian Gozer the Gozerian impression was kind of cringeworthy.
BTW, why so defensive about Marvel? -

Defensive? They've done
some
good villains, no doubt, but unfortunately for every Obadiah Stane and Helmet Zemo there's a Malekith or a Killian to contrast.
