Captain 'Merica Civil War was an ungodly mess of a film with a haphazard script riddled with plot conveniences in a horrible contrived story and atrocious cinematography with unimaginative camera use and little attention to detail nor any real attempt to light the thing properly.
You spelled Days of futures past wrong.

X-Men: Apocalypse is more creative than Civil War and BVS

No brainer. X-Men: Apocalypse wins face-off.
Can't believe critics said movie is intellectual, they meant for kids right? I tried to see it again, I didn't like it. At least X-Men Apocalypse has some decent quotes, writing, gruesome kills/injuries and great visual effects.
Why does MCU's Civil War not live up to the title and not have any gruesome kills? Both are PG-13???

Yeah, I really don't understand the critics for more than a few movies this past year, they've left me scratching my head at quite a few turns. Usually even if I don't like a movie and they do, or vice-versa, I can usually find some merits in their arguments, but man have there ever been some wild misses on critical analysis from the so-called experts this past year.
        Captain America Civil War
being one of the worst offenders. Intellectual? Give me a break.
        Doctor Strange
was a step in the right direction and a much better made movie than
        Captain America 3
, and I'm surprised that more Disney Marvel fans aren't putting it ahead of
        Civil Snore
. It still suffers from following the beats of a typical origin story which destroys it's own tension at every turn because it insists on ham-fisted forced humour at the worst times (often right when the drama starts building), but the acting and all of the aspects of camera work were a full step ahead. You'd think they'd be praising
        Doctor Strange
        and trying to sweep
        Captain America Civil War
under the rug and forget about it, but there's no accounting for taste.

It was deeper than any argument an X-Men movie has given us.

Well given you rate X Men Origins higher than any MCU movie you clearly don't know what a good plot is and what good cinematography is.
It's pronounced Captain America you illiterate red neck.

Easily agree with your title. If I were to rank the comic book movies I saw last year it would go

                  1. Civil War
                  2. Deadpool
                  3. Doctor Strange
                  4. Suicide Squad
                  5. X-Men Apocalypse
                  6. Batman v Superman
The top 3 I thoroughly enjoyed. What won me over with Civil War over Deadpool was my all time favorite character Spider-Man finally joining in the MCU and he was absolutely the highlight of the film. Every scene he was in was just amazing. The rest of the film was great too and made up for any small issues I may have had.
Suicide Squad is ahead of X-Men and BvS simply because I enjoyed Robbie and Smith. The rest of the film was pure beep but I do want to see more Harley Quinn and that's at least a positive I was able to take out of the film compared to not really having much of one for the other two.
X-Men I was obviously more disappointed in than BvS because I'm a big fan of a ton of X-Men characters but I could at least laugh at how bad parts of it were compared to just being outright bored with BvS. They're both right there neck and neck with me for the worst though. In X-Men I liked McAvoy, Fassbender, and Munn while in Batman v Superman I really only liked seeing Wonder Woman.
The last 3 movies on my list all had some cringe worthy acting performances in them too
                    Suicide Squad:
                    Joel Kinnaman
                    Jared Leto
                    Cara Delevingne
                    Batman v Superman:
                    Jesse Eisenberg
                    X-Men Apocalypse:
                    Sophie Turner

That would be my ranking except for Suicide Squad (don't want to see it maybe as background on Netflix).

Yeah I don't blame you it's a REALLY bad movie. If you watch it you basically just watch it for Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and that's it.

I haven't watched Civil Kid but it must have been awful.
Civil War however was great movie that was far more mature than any DCEU movie.
