Who in their right mind would walk up to the theatre, check the marquee and go "HmmLet's see oh! The LOSERS! sounds Awesome! Hey honey, let's see The LOSERS for our date night!" It just wouldn't happen. And judging by those box office numbers, DIDN'T happen. They couldn't figure out a better name for their $25 million project than THE LOSERS?? It boggles the mind, it really does.
I don't care if it was based on a Comic, critically acclaimed Graphic Novel, or a f___ing Pulitzer Prize winning book. It's a lousy damn name for an action movie. -
