To make a great film you need three things - the script, the script and the script -Alfred Hitchcock

'Real heroes don't wear Spandex': Mel Gibson
Is the actual quote obviously aimed at the likes of Batman or the Marvel equivalent

that's why i found what he said kinda weird
i mean heroes are people who have done some task that is morally good
while super heroes are people in comics
i feed the trolls and have them tap dancing for my amusement

i don't know the quote, but I would think it was a global 'celebrity worship' thing. The term 'sports hero' (many sportsmen wear spandex) is an example. Firemen who entered the twin towers are heroes. Someone who sprints fast isn't.
That's what I got just from the quote above

                  Charlie Gibson?
                  Orville Gibson the guitar manufacturer?
Walter Gibson, the irascible character played by John Cusack in The Sure Thing?
Thomas Gibson, the surly and abusive ex-lead of Criminal Minds?
Henry Gibson, underated character actor from the Burbs and the Blues Brothers?
