I watched again just to be sure that I'd remember everything and the movie is awesome but not without flaws of course, y

I agree. The only problems I see with it are some cheap effects, deadpool, and the inconsistencies with X2. The plot actually kind of reminded me of an 80s action movie, which is exactly what I think the character and the movie's time period needed. And Liev was an excellent Sabertooth.

I thought it provided a dramatic introduction to his origin in the very early years and then the ensuing years when he fought together with Victor were some of the finest action scenes in the franchise.
I have recommended it as a good intro for the movie LOGAN because it provided some background as to why he is not always comfortable being a killing machine. -

I don't mind watching it if it's already on but I'm not starting it. I've got a strong distain for what they did with Deadpool. Gambit was mis-characterized and, IMO, poorly acted. Could be scripting issues rather than actor but it is what it is. I liked Liev as Sabretooth, John, the Blob, and fights with agent 0.

disagree. Its all style and flashy effects and no substance. Weak pacing, weak characters, weak everything.
We get it : Wolverine is cool. But the rest is so ehhhh. Schrieber is good at being evil. But the rest was incredibly stupid
and they ruined Gambit
she fell through a hole, and was never seen again -

While I agree the best part of Origins is Wolverine and Sabretooth, the rest of the film and it's story/plot is stupid and ridiculous when it wasn't being handled badly. I don't know Deadpool and don't care how he was portrayed, but he certainly shouldn't have been in the movie at all.
Gambit was interesting, but I don't think he really belonged either. I guess I really wanted a Wolverine movie to really be about Wolverine. Sure have other characters in it, but be about Wolverine.
The Wolverine did a better job in having the movie be about Wolverine but still royally screwed up in wasted characters and badly handled story/plot.
Let's see if Mangold does a WHOLE lot better the second time but I've got huge doubts.
~ I keep my expectations low then I can be pleasantly surprised.~
