How would you yourself describe Christian Bale's "
BATMAN
" in Just 1 Word ?
For me, it would be "Excellent". What about everyone else ?

I think he was only great in Batman Begins so for that movie I'd describe him as "Perfect."
The other 2 he's a "Meh."

"Complex" would be the right word. His Batman had the most unique character arc out of all superhero movies on screen thus far. It's all due to The Dark Knight and its brilliant ending that turns superhero clichs on its head. It is the first time in the superhero movie when we not only see villain win, but we see hero's downfall and him compromising his morals to keep peace. It's more interesting to see hero facing hard choices that compromise his morals rather than seeing him defeating bad guys in physical battles. Sorry, it was cool to see Avengers punch CGI aliens for an hour, but real tensions comes from hard choices that real people face in real life.
