Where is the official source for this info?
I would assume there are
plenty
of rights-holders who have yet to agree to Amazon publishing their works.

It was a pretty bad show all in all. Spider-Man himself was terrible. If that guy had superpowers, then so do I. They didn't even need CGI to make it halfway decent, I see people on youtube making Spider-Man fanfilms, and they have enough acrobatic talent to be passable. Look at this guy

I may be one of the few who liked Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man. I thought he captured the character well, especially the Peter Parker part of the character
I remember Nicholas Hammond looked like he was about 35, playing a college aged Peter Parker lol -

I just looked up the cast. Robbie was in it for only one episode. And Aunt May was played by 3 different actresses. J. Jonah Jameson also was played by a different actor in one episode.

I liked it. I also miss that Sci-Fi Channel used to run the entire series plus the Hulk TV movies over Thanksgiving. Ahhthe good old days!
When there's no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth. -

I watched a few episodes of it that were on an old VHS release that I had my parents rent for me at my local blockbuster video years ago when I was a kid. I always thought it was dumb. They had Spider-Man be alergic to tobacco and also had a clone of Spider-Man kill himself by swinging into an electric pole.
