I'm not sure why, he just gets on my nerves.
Not thtmat he's useless or anything. He's a good lawyer, and he had some very good points about Matt's antics.
There's just something about him that's really annoying -

Looks around board
I like Foggy, but he clearly has his haters. Whether it's because they're annoyed with how much he complains to Matt, or the fact that they dislike the actor himself.
I just wonder if Karen is hated as well? Hmm.

Don't bother looking. This sort of hatred for the supporting protagonists is to be expected on EVERY show.
Personally, I think those who dislike Foggy dislike him because they can't accept that many of his criticisms of Matt's Daredevil life are true.
As for those who criticize Karen, well, the female lead always gets some level of hatred. What I find amazing is the number of people who are willing to criticize Karen fail to realize that they exhibit a double standard since their criticisms equally apply to Matt (as Matt and Karen are practically alike in their determination-style pursuits of justice, the only difference being how they achieve this). I mean, if someone's going to criticize Karen for getting people like Ben Urich killed (she manipulated him into accompanying her to interview Fisk's mother and kept him in the dark until it was too late to back out), they need to also criticize Matt for getting people like Officer Sullivan killed. (Sullivan wouldn't have been killed had Matt told him that the cops in his precinct were crooked and he shouldn't count on any of them coming to save him if he called for help. He called for help, and the ESU team that was sent was a corrupt team in Fisk's pocket.) -

Nope. I like him. So far, I've liked all of the casting in the series, as well as the other two Marvel/Netflix shows. As far as nagging, I chalk it up to two things. A) Foggy doesn't want his best friend to get killed. B) He's concerned about the legality of Matt's vigilantism. If he get's caught, there will be legal ramifications, and Foggy will be caught up in it if it's thought that he had any part in it.

A) Foggy doesn't want his best friend to get killed.
Exactly. Every time Matt doesn't show up to work or is late, and Foggy can't contact him, he probably fears that Matt has been seriously hurt or killed.
B) He's concerned about the legality of Matt's vigilantism. If he get's caught, there will be legal ramifications, and Foggy will be caught up in it if it's thought that he had any part in it.
Yeah, that. Foggy legally had an obligation to turn Matt over to the police once he found out Matt was engaging in vigilantism. But he chose friendship over his legal obligation. And this means now that if Matt got caught, the police might consider Foggy an accessory after the fact.
