    I don't acknowledge Miles Morales as Spider-Man
Im a lifelong comic book purist so Peter Parker is, was and always will be the ONLY Spider-Man to me

I never said I speak for all Spidey fans
I'm gonna watch that animated Spider-Man movie with Miles Morales. I have nothing against Miles Morales. But Peter Parker is the only Spider-Man for me, the only one I acknowledge
Just like I only acknowledge Bruce Wayne as Batman. Not Thomas Wayne or Damien
Same with how Hal Jordan is the Green Lantern I grew up with I dont acknowledge Guy Gardner, John Stewart or Kyle Rayner. Hal all the way

Now, Green Lantern is a different animal though. More than one person can get the job done.

What's so wrong with a darker, more adult Spider-Man series? lol

Superheroes in general are much better suited to television then they are to movies. Since comic books are basically soap operas with superpowers, it stands to reason that they should be presented in a medium that allows them to pull off grand stories over a longer periods of time. For as great as the MCU is, wouldn't it be nice if we could learn more about these characters and their rogues on a weekly basis rather than squeezing it all into a two hour runtime?
