An article I read over the break said Ghost Rider is done on the show, but he will be back in some other form, alluding to an appearance either in the movies or another Marvel show. It directly stated that the Ghost Rider effects were too expensive for the show as well.

As we saw by last night's episode, the bad is going to be Radcliffe, not Aida.
We don't know where she's going with this new reveal. She could be a bad alongside Radcliffe, or she chicks end up being true to a LNF and save someone's life.
Look at the May LMD. It would seem that she actually believes she's May, by her reaction to Aida in the hall when they were alone. There could be a shadow program in her that does things she's not aware of. It could be interesting to see her and Coulson grow closer and then she dies protecting him, revealing what she is as she 'dies'.
Is Aida evil or is she following the orders of her creator? Did the Darkhold infect her or was that Radcliffe's idea. Maybe it really did and Radcliffe's in for a surprise himself. The rest of the season will be interesting.

It depends on how they programmed the May LMD. If they made an exact duplicate of May's brain, then the May LMD may not know that it is not the real May. Although the May LMD constantly asking where the Darkhold was kept was very suspicious.

I took that her questions might simply be the programming Aida had put in, like the background program where they can watch through her eyes.
LMD May may feel an inclination or desire to know where the Darkhold is and not realize why. I didn't necessarily see it as she's 'in to everything'.
It will be interesting to see where they go with it. I'd rather LMD May show confusion and conflict within herself than just be a 'bad robot'. The first shows depth, the second is a stereotype.

I loved the MCU version of Ghost Rider. Hope we get to see more of him.

Since we are still dealing with the Darkhold book, I think we will see Robbie again, but probably not till the last few episodes of the season

We will most definetley see Robbie Reyes' Ghost Rider again towards the end of Season 4. He was too big a character for them to just kill off Which they didnt. He is probably trapped in the Dark Dimension and will return towards the last couple episodes of the season.

I hope that he comes back because he kept us sucked into the first half of this season and it's a waste to see him gone for good now when he was becoming a formidable ally for SHIELD. I'm not getting sucked into this LMD plotline anyway that I hate they wiped the Ghost Rider storyline off so far.

Wish he would come back for one episode at least.

It has been established that the Johnny Blaze version of Ghost Rider exists in the MCU.
And Radcliffe gave the appearance that Aida had gone rogue so he could get his hands on the Darkhold.
