Because they can't just keep it off their resume. It's there on the internet for everyone to see, for life. And it will haunt them.
I would say a better solution would be to not sign on with a project like this altogether, but you have no idea how it's going to turn out when it's in progress. My apologies to the cast in advance. This show is going to be abominable.
