I'd welcome this as an opportunity to talk with my children about stereotypes and preconceptions. If you throw in a "if you were gay, there'd be nothing wrong with that, I'd still love you just as much", all the better. You can't get that message out early enough.

Why not take it as an opportunity to talk to the kid about different people, and learn her views and answer her questions? Hiding from something won't make it go away.

don't change,God's going to kill you,all the better.You can't get that message out early
enough.No i'm not a Christian,Evangelical,Church Bible obsessed person so i'm being a bit sarcastic here but millions think this way and it's not because you think being gay
is cool and alright that it is.
The whole world seems to be on a mission to prevent gay
people from commiting suicide.
How can you prevent gay suicide?
Easy.Convince them that it's great and fabulous to be gay.
Convince them that you can be proud about being gay
and show them shows with popular characters that are
gay.
Convince them that many intelligent and successful
people are gay.
This is what Hollywood and the entertainment media are doing
right now.
If the Bible said not to wear green clothes,people still would
wear them and people would say it's so cool and great to wear
green clothes.
There would be proud to wear green parades and wear green bars and night spots.
Hollywood would feature people wearing green in movies and series.
Hollywood would present people wearing green as cool,intelligent and successful.
Hollywood would say that you can be proud by the fact that you're
wearing green and that would probably lower the suicide rate for
people wearing green.
Oh my parents hate me,the kids at school hate me but Wow this movie star
is always wearing green!Green must be great!
I am proud to wear green and will tell everybody and i don't care what they think!
Personnally i like lesbians(as long as they are very attractive) in my entertainment but i understand why
some people think it's distasteful to feature these themes in Super
hero series.
Actually i don't know a single person in my life that i met that
said they liked lesbians.
Everybody i know hates them.
No i'm not one in case you're wondering.
It's not like i'm watching the Flash or Supergirl and asking When will they
introduce a gay character?
I don't care if there is no gay character in comic book movies
and they probably shouldn't be but i'm not head of CW which seem
to think that every series has to have black characters and gay ones.
For me there is something sacred about superheroes but the people
who make the movies and series don't agree with me.
It's like if i liked pizza without garlic and everyone decided
to make pizza with garlic.
In that case,the only way i could get my pizza without garlic
would be to make it myself.
It's either that or not eat any pizza at all.
It's the same with superhero movies or series,either
you take them the way they are made and written or
you don't watch them at all because you're not going
to get the product exactly like you want it in the end.
But this is the way of CW(also the way of the world) so unless you buy the rights to
these characters,you're not going to get your way. -

The section you presented about the wearing of green is hilarious and actually makes no sense because there ARE portions of the bible that outline what we are NOT to do yet we still do them, and there are passages that state its ok to do something we've outlawed and your rationale is completely bizarre.
Leviticus 19 has quite a large amount:
Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord.
Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.
Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material.
Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed.
Do not swear falsely by my name and so profane the name of your God. I am the Lord.
Do not lie.
Leviticus 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight.
Exodus 21:7 states it's ok to sell your daughters in to slavery
Exodus 35:2 states you can not work on the Sabbath and those who do will be put to death- sorry everyone in retail, in hospitals, in restaurants, but I guess you need to die.
Leviticus 11:10 states that you should not eat shellfish phew- good thing I'm allergic!
Leviticus 11:6-8 says that touching the skin of dead pigs is not allowed food prep, football???
Offering love and support will help to prevent suicide of any sort, be it LGBT related, depression related- whatever. So maybe instead of worrying about who other people love, worry about the hate that you are filled with because gay people aren't spewing the hate that you are, they are simply loving who they love. And last I heard- we are to love one another!

Well you say i'm stating things that are bizarre but you're
actually doing the same.
God clearly destroyed alot of people himself,has alot of hate towards
people that don't think like him and the Bible says not a single good
thing about gay people.
You can put flowers in your hair,sing Give peace a chance
and help others all your life but in the end,that's not what
really matters if you want an afterlife in the great beyond. -

I've never understood how anyone can worship deities that torture and kill LGBT youth and think themselves moral for it. But I'm not a psychiatrist, and since these deities are imaginary, the question is academic anyway. The only thing that matters is that this is the conservative message to LGBT individuals. This is your mission and your agenda.
Whenever you use these words to describe a position of tolerance and acceptance, you're projecting. Nobody is trying to turn anyone gay. But you are literally trying to scare kids straight, which is impossible. All you achieve with this approach is to inflict self-hatred and emotional suffering to the point of suicide, and that's simply not acceptable. Tolerance is not the scary agenda here. Tolerance should be the default position (and while we're talking religion, "love and tolerance" is also a great way to sum up the gospel message). -

But what is the problem? This show is for little kids, right! So what if the kids see that there are different type of sexuality on TV and that sex exists. They will find out about it later on anyway, at least the show does all the work for the parents and they don't need to explain it anymore. These days kids discover a lot of things about life from TV.
I think the episode was pretty appropriate and stripped from all the R-rated details.
And don't worry your kids won't turn to be anything they are not.
But I agree about stereotypes, they are stupid. But some people are very used to them and they sell more than the diversity.
The beautiful people on CW is a stereotype, but nobody complains about that ;).
