How some people say she isn't attractive enough, is completely beyond me.
Some people just think some "attractive" girls aren't attractive and it's jsut their opinion. Personally, I think she was a great choice for the role and after seeing every episode so far I think she's a little more attractive than Laura Vandervoort is (I've known about Laura's work way before Smallville).

Personally, I don't think she is stunning but she is far from ugly and the people who keep writing on here and other boards that Melissa is too ugly and average for the roles are just complaining 'cause they wanted Kate Upton and didn't care about the acting part which is typical with guys with female superheroes.
