Cinema Sins here backs up exactly what we are saying:
(7:55 through 8:55 mark Snyder storyboard only director) This film paid ten times more attention to the storyboards than it did the script. Thats found everywhere you look. I also love his ripping apart the Martha turn of events and the shear pointlessness of jamming Doomsday in to the movie. I feel like Irons, Amy Adams, Lawrence Fishburne and Diane Lane were all sitting around the lunch table at Craft Services saying, What the hell is this sh*t? You see the lines theyre having me read? The cast is wasted. (18:29 mark)
Snyder doesnt understand Batman and Superman any better than how he understands how a newsroom works. Clark, youre on sports today. LOL. -

they always planned to make it lighter. they said so from the beginning. he never said massive changes are made. it was great and well received by audience members. the ultimate edition was well received by both critics and audience members. you didn't catch beep

Like most true film fans, I place story ahead of FX especially if all the action is a one note bore. The only remotely positive thing anyone has said or can say about this mess is that Snyder knows his visuals. Well, with a lot of the CGI being bad and the action actually being brief and limited I have to ask what are they talking about? It's a question that will linger for as long as he's butchering DCEU movies.

The Martha ridiculous plot point will go down in history as the dumbest blockbuster plot turn of all-time. The writers that had Indiana Jones survive a nuke by sitting in a refrigerator must send Zack Snyder a nice thank you and maybe a Christmas ham this year! They are off the hook.

SS even worse than this movie I know we are only three movies into the DCEU but each one keeps getting worse. I have no idea what only being three movies into a franchise defence is actually meant to mean anyway to be honest.
To make a great film you need three things - the script, the script and the script -Alfred Hitchcock -

It's uncanny. How can they keep the slide going yet continue not to lose money while they decrease in quality? I'd ask if the world has gone mad but I just got done watching two evil morons debate for the presidency of the United States. So, it's clear the world is a crazy place nowadays.
