They are in a worst mess because after B and R,they had no commitments,and could easily clean the decks and start over. But now they are heavily commited to a string of very expensive films, and can't just fall back and regroup easily.
They made a horrid mistake in basically giving Zack Synder the keys to the DCU,and now they have to pay the price.

cancelling movies cost a ton of moneydawn of justice was the first DC film we wouldnt be getting a justice league because they wouldnt have greenlighted them before the movie thus warner bros would have time to think. they cant now and must constantly interfere with justice league which never worked out well for any movie and has actually made worse movies

I think both are equally hated because TDKR was so bad after something quite good just like B&R was so bad compared to the 1989 film.

Has everyone seen the rating for the Flash TV show? They are down bigtime across the board. Shows that the DC brand is in huge trouble.
