For the life of me, I can't understand why these films have to end with CG punching CG standing in front of a CG destroy-a-city machine. -Marc Bernardin

Scott Mendelson of Forbes on Nine Lives, the talking cat movie:
Well, it's better than 'Suicide Squad,' for what that's worth

Have you read what your DC pals in here have been saying about any movie other than WB/DC?
It's actually so crude and foul many posts are being deleted.

Rolling Stone- this botch job makes Fantastic Four look good
Wall Street Journal- Suicide Squad amounts to an all-out attack on the whole idea of entertainment
NY Post- the question isn't whether Sucide Squad is as good as The Avengers, but whether it's as bad as Green Lantern

Ok, now that's just more funny than it is vicious.

"Seriously, 'it wasn't the cast's fault' should be the epithet on the DC movie universe's tombstone." - Rob Vaux (Sci-Fi Movie Page)
Time to start making that tombstone methinks.

"BvS was like going to a play starring my friend and seeing them die on stage. Suicide Squad is like another play, where my friend doesn't die but merely loses a limb."
                Paraphrased from my friend Spenser.

                  "Suicide Squat."
This latest DC summer blockbuster is more like a toilet buster despite amazing cast
                  By Bob Grimm
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was a skunk blast to the face for most of you trying to have a good time with a superhero movie earlier this year.
Suicide Squad does nothing to improve the summer blockbuster season. It actually sends a big, stinking torpedo of beep into its side, and sends the thing barreling towards the bottom of the bowl. Yes, I'm equating this film to that of a large, destructive, malicious turd. That's being kind.
Maybe there's a three-hour cut of this thing somewhere that makes a little more sense. Or, maybe Warner Brothers knows by now that people will always shell out money for this crap, and quality is of no concern.

Read just the first page over on RT for Suicide Squad and remember because it's exactly why Razzie nominated it in almost every category yesterday.

good thing the only opinion that matters to me is mine.
this movie was great. not excellent, but i will definetely buy the bluray (when its cheaper, meanwhile, the internet will do).
