Logan looks very separated from everything else in tone and perhaps in story (as we know). So why are some making it a s

Most fans of X-men want Fox to do better. Most fans of X-men loved the Deadpool movie (Fox had nothing to do with that besides financing it). Most fans of X-men don't like Singer's take on the characters and stories. Most fans of X-men go see the movies because they are X-men fans. Most of the people that like the X-men movies just don't want to like the MCU. Most fans of X-men movies are only fans of the Singer made X-men movies (even going as far as saying Singer improved on the stories). Even saying that they didn't like First Class much
If Fox can't do better (they already gave up on Daredevil and is wiping the egg off their face on that one, next up is hopefully F4), give it to someone who can. Let's see what Warner Bros. does with X-men. At least when they make a movie it isn't middle of the road.
Hopefully, Logan is a good movie because X-men needs it. And hopefully, Logan is not a rehash of The Wolverine (it's looking like it so far).

What is it with you Fox haters that don't want to give them credit even when they get things right?
Most of the people that like the X-men movies just don't want to like the MCU.
That doesn't really make sense at all.
Most fans of X-men movies are only fans of the Singer made X-men movies (even going as far as saying Singer improved on the stories).
Yeah, first of all that doesn't really happens (as it's not a small minority, but a lot of the X-Men movie fans are fans of the comics as well) and the only ones that say that the movies improved over the comic books are the MCU fanboys. Nobody (And I know this for a fact) has said that for an X-Men movie.
Cue the inevitable "WLL I'VE HEARD IT SO IT'S DONE!!"
Let's see what Warner Bros. does with X-men.
Oh, so this clears up everything then. You're just a troll pretending to be retarded. There's no reason to take you seriously.

In this related LRM article, the cinematic universes ( and respective studios which handle the filmmaking) are compared and it favors the treatment by Fox the best.

Fox doesn't have a Cinematic Universe. It has a disjointed, jumbled mess of loosely connected X-Men films and Deadpool. The author of that article has no idea what they're talking about.

Disney has all their fingerprints over the MCU much like the new Star Wars films with goofy jokes, bumbling idiot support casts, diluted bland villains and over-reliance on CGI.

Cops tell jokes, firemen tell jokes, businessmen tell jokes, soldiers even in WW2 told jokes etc.

I'm still trying to figure out how Logan is any different in tone than The Wolverine
And we've seen the same theme and plot points in other X-Men/Wolverine movies.
This isn't Fox v. Marvel, this is X-Men fans tired of Fox beep everything up.
