Did Flashpoint kill Caitlin's dad and no one realizes it?

So in Season 1, Caitlin remarks that her fiancee is alive and can fly, and says she doesn't know how she is going to tell her parents about it.
Perhaps in the pre-Flashpoint timeline, Caitlin's dad is alive, and her mom is a bit frosty but nowhere near the person we saw in Season 3 post-Flashpoint.
Barry might not have known that Caitlin's dad was alive in the pre-Flashpoint timeline so it hasn't gone noticed by anyone.
This is perhaps one of the reasons why we are getting Killer Frost in this timeline, and not before. Caitlin has suffered a lot of grief and she is at the breaking point. Sure, she suffered loss in the previous timeline, but not as much as she has in this one. -

OMG! thank you for mentioning this. I'm a DC Newbie so I thought maybe I was just lost on a few details. I also remember Caitlin mentioning parent
s
(plural). Yes, I think it was in reference to Ronnie.
Also, Post Flashpoint while talking to her mother, she said her mom became cold towards her after her dad died.
Pre-Flashpoint: On Earth 2, while talking to Caitlin, Killer Frost said her mom was cold, and Cait said their moms sound similar. Frost later on said that her mom became cold after her brother died. Cait said she never had a brother. When Frost asked Snow why
her
mother became cold towards her, Cait said she didn't know.
Initially, I thought the writers made a mistake or just decided to switch Caitlin's backstory up and thought we wouldn't notice. -

Interesting point. Especially given the fact that pre-Flashpoint, she tells E2 Caitlin that she didn't know why her mother was so frosty but she does seem to know after Flashpoint that its because of her father's death. Granted that's not conclusive and Barry would have probably reacted to that news but I doubt we will ever know for sure. Its more likely a continuity error.
