Well it's box office say it's a massive hit, and it's cr to coal reception for the ultimate edition which was received more positively, not to mention it's positive audience reception.

In terms of plot, nothing would have changed. Batman will still remain a murderer (one more kill doesn't change much). Superman would still be dead at the end. And Doomsday would have still been killed, but by Wonder Woman who would have received the spear from Lois Lane after she magically realized it could be used to kill the Cave Troll. So, the same ending. Though, it would have been fun to watch Lois taking the spear out of Superman body.

I'm sick of people saying that's not what the scene meant. Uh, bullcrap. The whole scene is portrayed with that way in context and I don't care how many essays I get on why you think its brilliant. To me, its stupid. And just because I get what they were trying to do doesn't mean I think it was executed well. Its still stupid and feels like Zack Snyder beating me up to tell me that this is clever and a giant comic book reference.
