She wanted to prove she was strong, independent woman and basically did not heed the warning of her man. Ends up getting her neck snapped 15 minutes later.

Her character was terrible: just finished vhigh school but already some high flyer ant oscorp and professes to be able to repair the city's power grid? What utter crap! Some grounding in a semblance of reality would be good
