Darkseid too early

Just have him later in the movies, not have him as a bad guy this early in the film series as the first bad guy for the JL. Yes, its Steppenwolf, but they are obviously hiding Darkseid for this. It makes sense with Thanos as its build up for a bigger threat that spans tremendous size and scope. Just do Darkseid later in the films, not make him the main villain in the first JL film.

That's cool. I'm just hoping its not New 52 Darkseid or JL: War Darkseid. That would suck.
I really hate Darkseid from Justice League: War. One of the best villains in the DC universe and what does he do? Not talk, flies around and shoot at people with his Omega beam. So he's basically a 5 year old with a magnifying glass and shooting ants? Lame! -

He'll probably appear at the end, but his uncle Steppenwolf is the film's main villain. Likely Darkseid will be saved for JUSTICE LEAGUE 3. Maybe 2 will be Granny Goodness, or perhaps bring in a new character like when Marvel brought Ultron into AVENGERS 2. I wouldn't mind Brainiac as a Justice League villain to be honest.

Whether it is JL 2 or JL 3 when Darkseid eventually arrives, whoever is directing better have the entire Justice League practicing being pummeled into nothing if they want it to be as realistic as possible, especially Superman who spends 98-99% getting trounced by him . What will they do with Batman against him? Give him
radion bullets? -

DC/WB are in a bit of a conundrum when it comes to Darkseid. You have to admit he and Thanos are somewhat similar and general audiences will think that 10 fold, and waiting till movie 3 would make people compare them with Marvel even more so. Yet there are ways to combat this.
But unveiling Darkseid so early you have the issue of a future villain not being as powerful. But again there are ways around that.

There will be Deathstroke and Steppenwolf in JL right? Darkseid might appear in the end credits scene but definitely not in the movie
.and then the bong hits him on the head and he falls RIGHT over the realitY

what they mean is having darkseid as the main villain in JL2, and having a darkseid relative as the main antagonist in JL1. compared to the avengers which has had a variety of villains with thanos in the background of some of their films.
do you build to him or do you jump right in?

- It's never too early for any villain. If you're a good storyteller you go with whatever villain offers the most to the story.
- Zack Snyder's Starro would be worst comic book villain since Zack Snyder's Lex Luthor.

DC might be light on known heroes compared to Marvel, but they excel more so in the villain area, so they will be just fine there. And how many Justice League films do you expect? After part 2(which likely won't be released until 2019 or 2020), we may not see another one for closer to a decade. So, it is not like they need to rush for a new villain every couple years. Heck, look at the MCU, they have been at it for almost a decade and they only have 2 Avengers movies.
