Nice to see her again. Really solid actress and character.

I wish the show would realize their mistake in killing off Moira Queen & letting Susanna Thompson go. I think the show, unfortunately, would be reluctant to resurrect Moira for fear of possibly "undoing" the dramatic exit that they created for her when she offered her life to save her children. I still think she could be brought back though without any of that being undone.
How about a storyline where Oliver meets the Earth Two versions of his parents where his father is Green Arrow & the Earth Two Oliver is dead (as revealed on THE FLASH). It's been the norm to make the Earth Two counterparts drastically different from the characters we've come to know & love, but the twist they could do with Moira's character on Earth Two is that there is no twist she's practically the same except more driven since her Earth's version of Oliver has died. Perhaps she could be making some sort of arrangement with some evil mystic to try to replace our Earth's Oliver (Earth One) with the Earth Two version so that, when journeying back through time, Earth One's Oliver dies in her son's place. Thea could be hip to the Earth Two's Moira's scheme but Earth One Oliver just can't reconcile that any version of his mother would ever do that to him since he replays his own mother's sacrifice in his head time and time again. It'd make for some dramatic storytelling and incorporate much of the old flavor of ARROW that has been missing since Seasons 1&2.
If they could come up with something like this, it'd make everything come full circle it'd bring back Susanna Thompson as Moira without undoing all that went on before, and be supernatural enough without the show becoming unrecognizable. Like it or not, the show has to delve into that sort of thing at some point, given its connections to THE FLASH & LEGENDS, but this would contain the same kind of emotional intensity & mystery that the first two seasons had, primarily because of Susanna's involvement. This show is missing a lot of mystery since the characters are written too transparently & the actors, being young, have yet to fully master the art of subtlety inferring things without being over the top. Susanna had that mastered, which is why one was kept guessing as to her true intentions whenever she was on the screen.
They need to do something like this ASAP in my opinion -

As much as I miss Susanna Thompson as Moira, I would never want her death undone on the show.
Her character had fulfilled her purpose, her arc was complete, and killing her off propelled Oliver and Thea's stories in new directions, in addition to the MASSIVE emotional impact.
Keeping a character around pointlessly or bringing him/her back just because of a good actor/actress results in the kind of storytelling we saw with Malcolm the last two seasons
I'm glad that Susanna got to leave the show on the high that she did.
Having said that, I wouldn't mind seeing her more often, say in flashbacks. An Earth 2 version would be interestingalbeit maybe a bit too soon after this last episode.

Hence why there was much more emotional weight/impact when Jonathan Kent died. Moira was the exception for me on Arrow, SV never sacrificed its characters for shock value. Man, on a side note Reckoning was such an awesome episode. One of my favorite hours of television tbh. I had a lengthy conversation with John Schneider about it. Seemed somewhat bitter regarding his exit from the show, even after all of this time, he seemed very protective of Pa Kent.
IIRC, wasn't it Susanna's choice to walk? I had read as everything was still happening that Susanna wanted out, they granted it but she didn't know where they were taking her outside of the redemption angle of it all, She didn't know they were killing her off or anything. I know she turned down a few guest spots as well. One being when Ollie escapes in the flashbacks, goes back to his house and sees the photo of Moira before being attacked by a League member. Moira was supposed to have had an appearance in that episode.
