It's because, maybe, if they keep it up then they might be right someday. Marvel doesn't look like they're stopping anytime soon so it's not unlikely that they will, eventually, have a critical and/or financial flop.
And when (/if?) that happens, they'll gloat about it for as long as it takes for them to get bored. -

I wonder if it will have been worth wasting 10+ years of thier life obsessing and making asses out of themselves, just so that they can gloat the one time that they are finally right?
I don't think it will. -

That's pretty much now the routine for whenever a trailer for an upcoming MCU film is released. People start flocking the board saying it'll flop and the closer it gets to release, the more trolls appear. And if the people gets good reviews, they'll say it was because Disney bribed the critics. And once some time has passed, they'll move on to the board of the next MCU. It happened on the Civil War board and it happened on the Doctor Strange board as well.
Its amazing how people hang around message boards of movies they dont like -

The thing is Z, even a broken clock is right twice a day. At some point, these trolls will accurately predict the first Marvel box office flop.
And it won't mater that it happened nearly a full decade into Marvel Studios founding and 14+ successful films released.
And this won't matter either:
