It depends on what kind of expectations that you have. If you were dissapointed with "Batman vs Superman" and had low expectations of Suicide Squad then you might find yourself pleasantly surprised - if you have high expectations of it then you might find yourself in a spot of bother.
Death is the standard breach for a complex prize. -

If you are a hardcore fan of these tacky Tim Burton verse Batman movies, where the villains where more laughable than nasty and scary, then you most likely will enjoy this movie.
It does how ever tell the story of why these villains most likely never will be seen in a future Batman or Justice League movie, because these characters will just hurt these movies a whole lot more than actually being a benefit for them. -

The story is too cliche, basically other than the humor and the visual styling, you're watching one of the earliest superhero/supervillain movies in the 00's.
When you said THAT bad as people say, these people including me had high hopes for this movie, very very high especially when the trailers showed us so many action scenes and complicated plot that we'd hoped it'd turn out extraordinary, but that's just one of the things that are false.
Wonder Woman will be the last movie in the DC Universe that I'm hoping would turn out great, if it's the same then low hopes will be the best move to watch the other upcoming DC movies. -

I've now tried 3 times to slog through this film. Each time, i get about 5 minutes farther, then pass out.
Its hard for me to articulate whats wrong with it. I'm not sure i even know. It just seems uninspired. The whole 'look and feel' doesn't exactly help either its all dark, and blue hues, and eventually all the scenes kinda meld into each other.
I actually think Batman v Superman is the better film. -

Here's a drinking game.
1 drink shot each time Harley Quinn is introduced.
1 drink each time Deadshot is introduced.
1 drink each time Waller is talking to a General or group and introduces "the team".
1 drink each time there is a "Harley Quinn is hot" joke.
1 drink each time there is a "Harley Quinn is crazy" joke.
1 drink each time you remember that Rick Flagg is in this movie.
1 drink each time you remember that Katana is in this movie.
1 drink each time you remember that Captain Boomerang is in this movie.
2 shots for each Batman scene.
2 shots for each Joker scene.
3 drinks when you realize you are watching Ghostbusters.
Thor 2-Attack of the Clones-The 5th Element the trifecta of bad movies.
