No, because the 2nd Amendment was created to protect the people from the government, it never gave the government power to regulated it, in fact the exact opposite as it literally says shall not be infringed. The founders were clear on this.

Sure, if that helps you, but we can agree that the 2nd Amendment doesn't call for gun regulation and it literally says the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
