Will Groot be fully grown in time for Infinity War?

I'm almost thinking we have a teenage Groot or something, and then a fully grown Groot in the last Guardians film,
But who knows
There is no established timeline for how long it takes him to grow as of yet. -

i think i'd rather see Drax get his 100Ton boost and go up against the Hulk. the two would probably have a lot of fun fighting.
as for groot i'd rather keep baby Groot
part of me wants to see baby groot steal an infinity gem off the gauntlet while thanos isn't looking because he thinks it's shiny. -

I seem to recall Gunn saying something along the lines that this movie takes place just a couple months after the first movie ends.
(so it's one of the
few
exceptions to the usual "it takes place when it comes out" that most of the MCU films have had)

All of these "bonus sequels" in the MCU are sort of messing with that general rule. Since they have a rough outline planned to get to IW, they may need to put sequels a bit out of the usual sequence to keep things lined up.

Interesting, well I guess that just leaves the question of what sort of gap there will be between the events of this film and Infinity War. Since the GOTG characters have such a strong relation to the central Thanos storyline, perhaps the end of this film will really set off the events that lead to IW.
Maybe the timeline of GOTG2 will coincide with that of Spiderman, Black Panther and Thor 3, and the events of all 4 films will lead directly into IW, taking place right where all those films leave off.
Might be a bit of a stretch, but it's possible.
(Obviously taking into consideration that the first half or so of Thor 3 will focus more on what Thor and Hulk were up to whilst Civil War was occurring.) -

If by 'coincide' you mean it's timeline overlapping/taking place during the same time as those films, that is unlikely (IMO). The first GotG film did take place when it came out (so fall of 2014 - we know this thanks to the "26 years later" tag after Peter is kidnapped in 1988). So, if what Gunn said is true, GotG vol. 2 is going to take place late 2014, maybe very early 2015.
For Thor: Ragnarok: Age of Ultron takes place spring 2015 - so even if Thor: Ragnarok picks up right where Age of Ultron left off (which I think Feige indicated might be the case), it's probably going to be after the events of GotG vol. 2 (not to mention, we also know, thanks to Doctor Strange, that eventually Thor: Ragnarok will move forward to at least a year and half or more after Age of Ultron given the post credit scene. and considering that Doctor Strange takes place over the course of 2016 with the end occurring roughly 'present day' (possibly into early 2017)
For Spider-Man and Black Panther, Captain America: Civil War takes place when it came out (spring 2016), and we know that Spider-Man for sure is taking place after Civil War, and I believe initial indication has been that Black Panther will as well.

I'd be really surprised if Marvel ever releases a film that happens "out of order" unless (like GOTG) it's taking place off Earth or otherwise secluded from the rest of the MCU. Casual fans won't track that easily and Marvel is very (perhaps too) concerned about the casual fans.
They'll have flashbacks etc of course and it seems like it's going to be harder and harder to have them all be exactly "when it came out", but having them released in order should be somewhat standard (with the occasional exception like GOTG etc.)

i'd rather we keep baby groot.. if they need muscle that is what Drax is for :D.. plus Mantis can do a lot of damage on her own.
