Why were the aliens pissed at Barry?

As has Jax, and Sara, Snart, Sara again, the entire team with Savage, entire team with Einstein and that's just counting he times they intentionally changed things let alone their unintentional cock ups.

Ok, I suppose they were looking for some excuse to invade Earth(like aliens need one) but that's what the writers chose to use. If they had some ulterior motive it was not made clear on the show. I'm going with what given as the reason.

The 1951 Dominator made their motivations SUPER clear - the Justice Society, not Barry, raised their ire. They had seen metas cause trouble on "countless" worlds.
They came to Earth BEFORE Cisco and the Legends travelled back in time and were already suspicious.
THEN both the Society encounter with him AND Barry's time shenanigans made them go through all the trouble of creating a bomb designed to kill ALL metahumans on Earth.
We literally heard the various heroes discussing how the aliens might NOT be telling the truth. The writers LITERALLY had the characters say out loud that turning over Barry might not be enough.
For all we know, they wanted Barry so that like the comic book Dominators, they could enslave him or replicate his powers - they may have wanted time travel for themselves.

Yeah, they were lying. At one point they said that they were afraid of meta abilities falling into the wrong hands, IE someone who was as powerful as Barry but who lacked his scruples in using those abilities. They had a big meta bomb. I am pretty sure getting Barry to hand himself over was just a diversion to buy themselves enough time to deploy it.

THE JLA might have attracted the aliens but Barry's action put us back on their radar. Barry going back a creating flashpoint messed with time on massive butterflyeffect kind of way, so what could a baby's sex change and sudden powers, could be a massive change in function advanced alien technology. Physics is so delicate and complex a subject that some scientists think space will tare or the small thing will( higgs) will shift and space will burn.

No, I'm simply not a bad writing apologist. If they are simply going to kill the metas why bother with the Barry nonsense. The writers wanted to give Barry a redemption arc, but it was unearned and silly.

Maybe? I expect the writers to tell a logical, complete story. I am not satisfied by viewers explaining "maybe" this is the reason why. Human and Dominator physiology is nothing alike.

Wait, so Sopranos, Mad Men, Game of Thrones, and Breaking Bad ALWAYS filled in ALL the blanks for you? No. Hell, not even All in the Family or MASH or Maude. Not even the classic sit-coms! We never DID find out what Elaine wanted to tell Jerry on that almost-plane-crash.

The thing is, Barry is the only time travelling meta they knew of originally. Hence, if the meta bomb had a successful detonation and Barry managed to run away fast enough from the blast radius, he could have gone back in time and come up with a better way to stop the meta bomb, like have Supergirl take the meta bomb and throw it into outer space or better yet the Dominators' spaceship.
