Indeed, those were five very fascinating minutes in the movie.

They didn't try to make him a tough guy, they made him the lover guy and that was the problem.

Speaking of Leto, and the Suicide Squad movie. The CDC says that rate STD's is the highest they have ever been.

Upon rewatching, Leto aped one part of Ledger's Joker too much, subconsciously or not: his
              reptile-like
nature. Aside from the obviously lip-licking, Ledger felt like he could potentially pop out from anywhere, ready to scare and/or kill you, like a snake.
Leto tries the same thing, but over-the-top and not as well, and it's thus somewhat embarrassing to watch: the stupid way he slinks and waves his body around, the shaved eyebrows, the slicked-back hair, the snakeskin coats, and the same nasal vocal inflection.

The crew stops working and just watches him.
to make sure he didn't throw pig beep on them or some equally stupid crap.
if you don't have anything nice to say you're probably a butthole

He over acted so much that he reminded me of John Travolta in Battlefield Earth, only not funny at all.

I'm going to watch The Dark Knight sometime this week to erase Letos' god awful performance (and this movie in general) from my mind.
