I did not see GOTG in theaters, I waited for it to be on tv because I was not familiar with the characters not for lack of trust in Marvel. After seeing it on tv however I do think I should have just gone to see it on the big screen as it was a very good movie and Marvel has yet to make a film that shakes my trust in them.

I really thought GotG would be Marvel's first flop then figured okay, Ant-man has got to be Marvel's first flop then, Ok, no WAY Dr. Strange will work, here comes their first flop.
At this point, I give up.. bring on Squirrel Girl. Thanks to Batmeh v Supermeh Yawn of Justice, the "S" now stands for Sidekick -

Marvel is in this for the long haul, I think at this point unless they choose to end the MCU or let it have a vacation it's just going to keep growing and be the first "long lasting connected comic book universe" in live action.
Why did you think "Dr. Strange" would be a flop ?, he is a great character just not widely known, years ago before Iron Man was in theaters Dr. Strange was a more recognized name since many 90's kids saw him in the animated marvel shows.

I figured the introduction to magic into a franchise this deep based purely on science would fall flat. but they handled it beautifully. instead of beating people over the head with exposition and explanation, we learned while he did. very organically done. Thanks to Batmeh v Supermeh Yawn of Justice, the "S" now stands for Sidekick -

Captures the feel of the first one. Although the first one was quite different from anything MCU had done the story didn't impress me much. But hey, at least this one looks a lot better.

Visually, it looks pretty great. But like the first one, it looks like it has a lot of forced humor. Some of the humor worked great in the first one, but a lot of it felt like humor that only little kids would think is funny. I expect more of that here.
