Is it Thursday yet?
Throwback Thursday interviews - Tom Ellis at San Diego ComicCon 2015
In this one, he talks about Lucifer's accent and his relationship with Chloe. Also some Neil Gaiman stuff.

This one Tom talks about who Lucifer is to him:

These interviews are kind of nice compared to ComicCon 2016. Which was standing room only and so noisy that it was hard to hear what people were saying.

This is from the fan favorites panel at San Diego ComicCon 2016
I've only seen bits of this before, but this is the Tom Ellis Q&A in its entirety.

"so its shocking for them to see somebody that they may find attractive and its their mother. Its not like my hindquarters are actually that supreme! But compared to what they would think of as their mother, yeah, its a very awkward situation. This wasnt the first body she inhabited, but with this one she seems to be getting attention, and theres a scene in the third episode where she realizes she can use this body to her advantage'
lol The sex appeal sell is valid. -

I think you might be onto something.
For one thing, Lucifer likes humans, especially his "detective" and Mom and Amenadiel are much less inclined to care about them. So I could see them bonding over that, while Lucifer would be displeased with their dismissive attitude.
And of course, a mother not being happy with her son's choice in girlfriend is a tale as old as time, so they could definitely be at odds over Chloe. Especially if mom finds out that Chloe makes him mortal. I don't think I'd be happy about something like that either, to be honest.
