The second and third one didn't need to be made. Sometimes films don't always need to become a movie series. Men In Black was perfect, it had comedy while still having a serious side, whereas the sequel was nothing more than more CGI and the third one was supposed to be more humorous, but it was just boring.
As an animal lover, i did some research about the animals in this film and the American Humane Association said that no animals were harmed during the making of this motion picture, scenes were cut, they sometimes used fake animals and CGI and animal trainers were on set.
Back to the three movies, it's obvious that Hollywood wanted to make more money off of MIB so they tried to make 2 more films, but sometimes you have to just let things be. It isn't like the movie company were running out of money.

Men in Black 1 was huge. The promotion was big, and it was an iconic 90s movie. While 2 and 3 were bad, it's almost a given that a huge movie such as this will get a sequel.
